Pointe Technique
Pointe technique class is designed for students with previous ballet training. Students will utilize previously learned ballet technique while working in pointe shoes (or flat ballet slippers if the dancer hasn't passed their pointe shoe test yet). Each class includes barre exercises, center floor work and across the floor combinations. These exercises focus on strengthening the feet and ankles. This is a nonperformance class.

Children will be taught class etiquette (listening and following directions) while being introduced to basic dance fundamentals of beginning level steps in BALLET and TAP. Large and small motor skill development will be practiced using hula hoops, bean bags and other manipulatives. Rhythm and counting will be introduced while singing and clapping. Children will enjoy a special craft everyday and learn dances to their favorite princess songs.
