Handstands - Learn the art of balance
Want to learn to stand on your hands? Walk on your hands? Do handstand push ups? This is the perfect class whether you are just starting out or you have some experience and want to refine your technique. Improve your inverted body shoulder endurance and core strength through key foundation drills and skills and start your journey toward a freestanding handstand, or build your freehold towards a one arm handstand. Strengthen your core and upper body while learning a new skill (party trick anyone?!) ! There are always many progressions for each exercise, so if you are lacking confidence up side down don’t use that as an excuse not to come!

Contortion & Flexibility - We're Bringing Flexy Back!
Ever wanted to work on your flexibility but not necessarily become a contortionist? Well this is the class for you. This class will give you the tools/ability to stretch in a safe and secure way minimising the risk of over stretching or injury. You’ll be taken through a thorough warm-up before being instructed on the correct way to stretch your body to give you those beautiful lines you’ve always desired! This class in an open level class and will focus on increasing flexibility, forward and backward walkovers and contortion movements such as elbow stands, handstands and more. Increase your flexibility and build a repertoire of contortion tricks throughout the term. Stretch and bend and twist! Contortion is a great training program for those who have a natural flexibility and want to improve and grow safely. This class couples great with any aerial, handstand or tumbling class as it helps you build flexibility that helps your aerial or ground performance!

FIRE NIGHTS - Expression of interest
Are you interested in coming to a supervised fire night, or learning the art of fire manipulation? Fire nights will be held on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month, with fire manipulation classes running weekly. (Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday evenings, day TBC) Experienced Fire artists will guide you step by step, through the art of fire manipulation, so you learn to perform safely. Learn tips and tricks in class, then come along to a fire night and put your new skills into practice! Must be 18+ Register for this class and we will contact you to discuss days! Sub Junior Aerial Arts (L2)
This class builds on the skills learned in Sub Junior & Aerial 101 levels, developing endurance, strength and agility on each apparatus. Experience Level: Coach recommendation is required to gain entry to this class, unless a sub junior AAA course has been completed prior & the following skills achieved with good presentation. - SILK - Must be able to complete 2x climbs in a row, french & russian. Must be able to straddle back in the air 2x. Footlock both feet in the air, at an even height with ease. Hiplock from the floor. Catchers wrap in the air is preferred but not essential. - TRAPEZE - Must be able to lift legs to the bar straight, in straddle or pike. 15sec knee hang. Gazelle. Catchers. Straddle balance. At least 2 skills in the ropes. - AERIAL HOOP - Must be able to straddle up with straight legs. Man in the moon. Knee hang 15sec. Star. Split. Pre req: Strength & Flex class is compulsory in addition to this class.

This is a 60 minute class of partner acrobatics technique essentials for the basing and flying acrobats of Geelong! Learn the fundamentals of circus, tumbling, handstands, acrobatics, juggling, trapeze, aerial straps and breakdance in this BOYS ONLY Circus 101 class! Develop confidence, strength and agility and discover what it takes to be a circus performer as you learn awesome circus skills from our male coaches. During the sessions, students focus on tumbling (such as forward rolls, cartwheels, handstands & round offs), acrobalance (building pyramids) and trapeze, juggling skills and more.... even a little break dancing! All of which are foundational circus techniques. Experience Level: No experience necessary. This class builds on the skills learned in Sub Junior (& higher level Aerial 101) levels, developing endurance, strength and agility on each apparatus. Experience Level: Coach recommendation is required to gain entry to this class, unless a sub junior AAA course has been completed prior & the following skills achieved with good presentation. - SILK - Must be able to complete 2x climbs in a row, french & russian. Must be able to straddle back in the air 2x. Footlock both feet in the air, at an even height with ease. Hiplock from the floor. Foundations - Flex, Strength, Conditioning
The perfect flexibility & strength program for circus artists, dancers, gymnasts and those just wanting to get stronger and more supple! Work on your splits, upper back and shoulder flexibility. Build total body Strength and Flexibility safely and effectively through a range of static, dynamic and weighted mobility exercises. Special emphasis will be placed on achieving front split and middle split while increasing upper back and shoulder strength and flexibility, to assist with handstands, tumbling, aerial and other circus skills. Experience Level: No experience necessary. We scale our exercises/progressions to suit each students individual capabilities, addressing strength and mobility deficits to build strong foundations.
