Ballet 1 A students will perform in our yearly Ballet production. Costume fee ranges between $60-80.00 A recital/production fee will be charged to all students and due by May.
Ballet 1 A students will syllabus will focus on proper placement, posture, vocabulary and technique.
Ballet 1A students are required to take at least two hours of Ballet.

Students enrolled in Ballet 1A will be required to participate on our end of the year Ballet Production in June with various rehearsals to be Saturday mornings. Ballet1 students are taught Cuban Method. Ballet 1 class will have a strict dress code. Students in Ballet 1 will be faced with a rigorous style of teaching. Students will be challenge each week by their instructor.

Both the student and parents will be required to adhere to class rules.

Primary level one students learn basic posture and placement for dance, how to properly begin and end a sequence and the movements and positions of ballet.They learn about timing, spatial awareness, working separately and in groups, using dimensions and dynamics of music and dance and the fundamentals of ballet technique and core strength. These concepts are intoduced through play. Learning at this stage of development should be fun and our students often don't even realize they are learning and getting stronger!

Lyrical 1 & 2
Lyrical dance is a dance style that blends elements of ballet and jazz dance. Lyrical dance is generally a little more fluid than ballet. All lyrical dancer's movements attempt to show the meaning of the music. Lyrical is a very passionate and emotional dance style.
A solid ballet base technique is an essential component of this style of dance.
Student who would like to enroll in Lyrical will need to take Ballet.
Our beginning lyrical dancers will begin to explore emotions and incorporate movement with dance lyrics.
