This class introduces the fundamentals of ballet in both an encouraging and disciplined atmosphere. Attention is paid to the basic positions, proper body alignment, and developing movement sequences through coordination of the arms and head. Helping the student to progress quickly to age appropriate goals, this class is perfect for the recreational dancer or the late starter. The instructor will evaluate when a student is ready to move into a school level if the student is interested in that goal. This class meets twice weekly. This class may participate in the school performance in the spring.*
*This class will not perform in The Nutcracker.
