Pre - Nutcracker workshop - ages 4-9
Help your dancer prepare to be in the Nutcracker while having fun doing it! During this 3 week workshop which runs before rehearsals begin, Dancers will explore and learn mini dances to music from the Nutcracker, gain an understanding of the story, and learn how to be in the theatre and onstage. They will also meet characters from the cast and create a craft related to the theme. Minimum of 5 dancers required for class to be held.
Ages 4-9

Pre-Ballet classes are designed to introduce students to the art form of ballet in a creative and inspirational environment.
Children are introduced to the structure and discipline of a ballet class, as well as music awareness and basic ballet terminology. Pre-Ballet emphasizes creative expression through movement to music. Mondays 4:30p.m. - 5:15p.m..
Fall Session is 12 weeks.

Ballet Basics (ages 9 -13)
For the student who is new to ballet, this is where you start. In this class students will learn the essential and fundamental elements of ballet technique. This includes basic ballet positioning, posture, vocabulary, and mechanics. Students will focus on basic arm and leg positioning as well as developing correct body placement. Dancers will also learn the structure of a traditional ballet technique class, progressing from barre work to center work throughout the session. This class is designed to give students the information they will need to feel comfortable entering a beginner ballet class. No experience is required.

Fall session is 12 weeks. Repertory classes will be available for those students attending ballet class at least two(2) times per week.
