Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.

It is also a very precise dance with the dancer’s movements portraying the emotion and story of the song.

This weekend workshop will also help us place dancers together for next year's team. Do you want to improve your aerial and back handspring? Then come to our summer Aerial & Back Handspring class!

Dancers will be taught by Acrobatic Arts certified teacher, Jordan Edwards. In this workshop, dancers will work on their flexibility and strength, learn drills to aid their aerials and back handspring, and work through the Acrobatic Arts progressions.
