Lorraine Cranford Summer Dance Workshop
An intensive workshop for students ages 12 and up* (completed 6th grade) with a minimum of two years of classical ballet training. *Age as of June 1, 2024.
Lorraine Cranford Summer Dance Workshop (LCSDW) features daily classes and rehearsals in ballet, pointe, jazz/musical theatre, and classical partnering with guest instructors, personalized attention, and studio performance.
Placement Class: Sunday, June 2
Workshop Classes: Monday, June 3-Friday, June 7. Studio performance, Friday, June 7.
Total Cost: $500

Elevé Dance Workshop 2024
This camp is an opportunity for your young dancer to elevate themselves. It will expand their dance knowledge and abilities in Ballet & Jazz. Each day we will include an extended technique class and a supplementary lesson to help improve all aspects of their dance training. There will be a stage makeup class, hair class, vocabulary lesson, and a fun ballet jeopardy game on the last day. Your dancer will learn different pieces of choreography from our Nutcracker and other Ballets performed at WAB with a showing on the last day. This camp is a fun way for your dancer to see what is coming next in their dance training. Please pack a lunch.

Drill Team Prep
Drill Team Prep is a 60 minute class that meets once a week for ages 11 & up. This class teaches and refines intermediate to upper level dance team technique found in the styles of kick, pom, jazz, and hip-hop. This class is designed to prepare dancers for the excitement and rigor of middle school or high school drill team tryouts. The faculty recommends 1 year of previous dance experience as a prerequisite.

Dance With Me is a 30-minute class that meets once a week for 2-3 year-olds (must be 2 at time of enrollment). This class introduces young children movement through music building motor skills, coordination, and confidence required attire for girls is a pink leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes and for boys black shorts or tights, a white fitted t-shirt, and black ballet shoes. Requires participation with a parent, grandparent, guardian, caregiver, etc. There will be an in-house showing at the end of the year.
