A fun, energetic continuation of the basics of tap technique. Students are required to have taken a beginner tap class prior to registration. Musicality and rhythmic qualities are emphasized during this class. It is recommended that students also attend a weekly ballet class to supplement this dance form. Students must turn 6 by September.

Ballet Level 4 Technique Ages 11-13
Incorporation of all previous levels with the addition of new ballet vocabulary. Pointe work is introduced to those students who demonstrate sufficient strength. Exercises will be skill and level appropriate. In order to progress, it is recommended that students attend three ballet classes per week and supplement with additional classes in other dance forms. Students must turn 11 by December and have completed at least 1 year of Level 3 or equivalent. Please see Director for proper class placement.

This is for the advanced dancer who wishes to further their skills in contemporary technique while gaining the most versatility and movement potential. Elements of classical ballet, modern and improvisation are further developed. Students are required to be enrolled in either a Level 5, 6 or 7 ballet technique class.

In order to progress, it is recommended that students attend four classes per week and supplement with additional classes in other dance forms. This class is devoted to developing proper Pointe technique. Students are required to take the Tuesday 4:00-5:30 Level 5 Ballet technique prior to Pointe class. Students must be taking a minimum of two ballet technique classes per week in order to attend pointe.

Intro. to Musical Theatre Ages 9-12+
This fun and energetic class will focus on developing the form of theatrical dance for the beginner student. Students will learn a combination of skills such as acting, dialogue and dance. Students will learn a variety of dances from popular musicals.

It is recommended that students attend four classes per week and supplement with additional classes in other dance forms. Students must complete at least 1 year or equivalent of Level 5 technique. Students will focus on developing strength through age appropriate exercises that target the muscles of the calves, ankles and feet in order to prepare them for pointe work in the future. In order to progress, it is recommended that students attend three classes per week and supplement with additional classes in other dance forms. Shoreline Ballet Company
Shoreline Ballet students in Levels 5-Levels 7 may audition for the Shoreline Ballet Company. This is a wonderful opportunity for dedicated dancers to train and perform outside of regular class time. Students will be selected based on skill and dedication. Students must be registered for either Level 5,6 or 7 and take at least 2 ballet technique classes per week. Students are required to attend ALL rehearsals. Students will have the opportunity to learn original choreography by Shoreline Ballet faculty and guest artists. Students will perform Contemporary, Modern and Classical Ballet choreography. Audition date Friday, September 7th 3:30-5:00pm.
