Musical Theatre Dance Class (Age 10-Adult)
This class will be held Tuesday evenings 6/4 through 7/16, with the exception of Tuesday 6/18. There will be no class held 6/18. This is a 6-week class with classes held on 6/4, 6/11, 6/25, 7/2, 7/9 and 7/16. Sign up for the whole 6 weeks for a great discounted price of $ 60.00. Drop-ins are welcomed but will cost $ 15.00 (Cash) per week to be paid before class starts. This class is designed for advanced beginners through intermediate dancers/actors. Learn fun pieces of choreography from musicals and animated films.

We will begin the week with a mock audition & end the week with a mock audition with guests. During the week, we will work on our improv skills, character building, monologue work, learning choreography quickly, selecting the best part of a song to highlight your voice, breaking down songs/ lyrics, and becoming a more confident auditioner.
Additional information:
Monday-mock audition, 1 min song, 1 min monologue, short dance combo
Tuesday- dissect monologues and work through character breakdown, cold reading, scene work, and quick improv thinking
Wednesday- how to properly vocally warm up, storytelling through song, breaking down lyrics, tips on memorizing lyrics quick, and how to find the best part of a audition song for you
Thursday- properly warming up physically, breaking down dance, going over basic musical theatre dance terminology, and learning how you learn a combo.
Friday- 2nd mock audition
