Apple Stems classes are for 1 adult and one child of walking age around 12 months to two years (or older if the child needs mom or dad in the dance studio with them during class). This class will include parental hands-on interaction with their child while learning creative movements through music. This class is the very first step to familiarizing dancers with the studio environment and structured class settings. The children will become familiar with rhythm and motion, preparing them for the basic introduction to dance as they grow older. The fall class will perform in our recital in June. Pink ballet shoes are required.

It is a fun and upbeat class. This class will also teach the basics of tap, alternating genres, with tap shoes required. One recital dance will be planned for this class, in the jazz genre. Should tap become an option for a recital dance, we will announce it, and no additional costume will be necessary.
