Missoula Children's Theatre Camp
The world-famous Missoula Children's Theatre is coming to BWR in Youngstown! Pre-register for casting in our production of The Emperor's New Clothes. The camp is open to anyone entering 1st grade in the 2019-2020 school year through 12th grade. Auditions and rehearsals will be held at BWR. Auditions are held during the first day of camp, Monday, August 5 from 10:00 - 12:00. Students in 1st through 12th grade will be cast members, and there will be 4 Assistant Directors, ages 12 - 18. Assistant Directors help teach and direct the show early in the week and take on technical responsibilities at performance time. Their logistical help and creative ideas are a vital part of our process, and the experience of the AD can be just as valuable as that of any cast member. Rehearsals run Monday through Thursday, August 5th through 8th, and there will be two performances of the production on Saturday August 10 at 3:00 & 5:30 pm at the Ford Theater at Youngstown State University's Bliss Hall. Tickets will be available at the door: $10 for adults, $7 for seniors, and $5 for students and children.
