All Around (1.5 Hour Class) Acceptance into this class is by evaluation and acceptance by the director. Intended for students who wish to be proficient in all 3 disciplines of performing arts, Drama, Dance and Voice. It is also a good stepping stone for future involvement in the performing group SALTPAC. One hour a week is dedicated to Drama and Voice performance technique. The other hour is a dance class on foundational technique. The director will assist in directing the student to the right dance class based on the student’s level of experience. The students learn parts of the stage, projection, how to take direction, reading and interpreting a script and blocking. Jazz year 4 & 5 will focus on learning proper dance technique such as isolation's of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms and patterns. Students will be exposed to various styles of jazz such as Broadway, Street and Contemporary to help develop a well rounded dancer. Entrance to this class is by evaluation only. Costume and performance fees required.

This class is designed for those who wish to perform in dramatic or comedic theatrical productions with content typically understood at a more mature level. Theater principles and acting methods will be taught from basics to advanced as it specifically applies to the play and the role being performed. This is an exciting opportunity for those who want to take their acting to the next level. Entrance to this class is by audition only The drama classes will perform twice per year in their own Playhouse production on our SALT Works stage. This class will have performance fees twice per year.
