Preschool Cheerleading

Mini Movers
Mini Movers is a dance class for children 18 months up to the age of 3 years. This class will held weekly starting in September. Tuition will be $50/month. Music, movement, balance and the basic dance steps are introduced in a fun, friendly and positive manner. This type of class pairs each child in the class with the dance helper and encourages each child to participate in class on their own. Our instructors will keep the music and curriculum moving along in a way that is fun, positive and appropriate for children in this age group.

Tumble Tots
Tumble Tots is a tumbling class for children 18 months up to the age of 3 years.. This class will held weekly starting in September. Tuition will be $50/month. Children will focus on increasing physical strength and muscle control, fine and gross motor skill development, coordination, balance. This class will also focus on spatial and perceptual awareness, introduction to colors, language development and self-expression, knowledge of numbers and letters, initial problem solving. With the introduction of tumbling at young age, each child will learn to develop independence and feeling comfortable away from parents, early socialization, sharing and taking turns, accepting new environments, following directions and cooperating.

Lion Cubs
This introduction to competitive Cheerleading is geared towards children age 3 years old - 6 years old. This practice will held weekly for 1 hour starting in September. Tuition will be $75/month. These athletes will be introduced to the sport of Cheerleading. They will focus on beginner level tumbling while learning to perform a routine. These routines will include basic tumbling skills, jumping, dancing and "floor stunting". Athletes will have 4 competition performances throughout the season in the Tiny Novice division.

Summer Tumbling #4

Walkovers
In our walkover class, students will learn how to execute both the front and back walkover (which is one of the main building blocks of tumbling). Coaches will also build upon students' existing tumble skills and flexibility.

Advanced Tumbling
This is the class for tumblers who are working on advanced tumble skills such as tucks, layouts and connecting these skills with existing skills. As in all of our tumble classes, coaches will work with their students to perfect their existing skills while helping them achieve new skills!

Once athletes have the fundamentals down, they are ready to start handsprings. Perfecting the handspring is a major milestone in tumbling and this class is designed just for that. Prerequisites: unassisted back walkover

Here at NEAC, our boys’ classes offer much more than just the opportunity to learn basic gymnastics skills. Our active, high energy classes will direct and channel your son's energy in an environment that is both fun and safe. NEAC's staff members are trained to introduce basic skills and concepts while improving both strength and flexibility. The boys will learn not only gymnastics basics, but will acquire a foundation that will strongly complement any sport they desire to pursue in the future.
