SEASON 12 PERFORMANCE-FOCUSED PROGRAM AUDITIONS
Open to all dancers who will be ages 8 to 18 during the dance season of 2024/2025. If you are interested in joining our Performance-Focused programs, come out to show your interest, work with our instructors and help us get to know you so that we can best support your performance goals!
Please pre-register for this class in order to attend. Evaluations/Auditions will be held between 3:30pm - 8:30pm on Monday May 13th at LT Dance Studio. Once you've confirmed your attendance by registering, a detailed scheduled of class times will be sent to you directly leading up to the event.

LT Dance Studio’s Adult Ballet classes are for those interested in learning ballet in a warm and inviting environment taught with a wholistic approach. Adult students of all levels and experience will be learning the basics and fundamental techniques required to execute the movements in ballet. We will warmup at the barre before moving into the centre to further build on technique. Ballet classes are a great way to improve coordination, posture and flexibility while clearing a busy mind.

UPLIFT Strength Training is the newest addition to LT Dance Studio's Adult Programs! This super fun and powerfully effective program is choreographed to iconic music and will leave you feeling strong and confident. Each class begins with a cardio warm-up and transitions to standing routines with equipment, alternating between upper and lower body. A balance track is included before transitioning to the mat. We complete the workout with routines for the core, booty, abs, and chest and a cool down with deep stretching.

***Ages 3-5*** Following the ADTA's KinderAcro Program, our students develop strong foundational skills, knowledge base and appreciation of AcroDance in a safe, challenging and very fun environment!
LITTLE TOTS develop gross and fine-motor skills and control. They learn introductory Acro body shapes and tricks while developing kinaesthetic awareness. At the same time, children will learn how to be in a class and develop their focus, listening and co-operative skills. (No Class Dates: May 4, May 18) (Rain-date: TBD)

CHOREOGRAPHY COMPOSITION Camp (July 16th - 18th 2024)
In this 2-hour program, dancers ages eight and up dive in to the creative process of choreography! Students will work independently and with peers to explore their own unique style and produce stand-out dance routines. All levels and styles of dance experience are welcome. Students will have the opportunity to showcase their work with an in-studio performance on the last day.

Through our Dance Era week together, dancers ages six through eleven will enjoy training in Acro, Jazz and Lyrical dance styles - developing dance technique and exploring creative choreography concepts. Each day offers an exciting afternoon activity including a Glow Light dance party, friendship bracelet making and trading, artistic designs, pyjama day with a screening of The Eras Tour movie, student choreography and more. The highlight of the week will be the performance for parents on the last day! A week of memories will last a lifetime in each students’ take-home journal. Students ages six through eleven will explore several different dance genres offered at LT Dance Studio. This week-long camp is comprised of everything you know and love about LT Dance Studio summer programs with creative arts and special daily activities. This camp will offer all students who might be interested in a variety of genres a chance to see where their passions take them before committing to a full-season program in the fall!

LIVE THE BEAT Hip Hop Dance Camp (July 22nd - 26th 2024)
During LIVE THE BEAT students ages six through eleven will learn Hip Hop foundations, fundamental grooves and social dances along with choreography and performance quality. Each day offers an exciting new activity including a glow light dance party, creative arts and crafting, graffiti art, outdoor games, a pyjama day with an afternoon movie and more! The whole week is wrapped up with a performance for parents on the last day.

TAKE FLIGHT Little Tot Creative Movement Camp (July 8th - 12th 2024)
Little Tots ages three through five will join the fairies, butterflies, bees and birds to “Take Flight” and bring stories to life! We will joyfully explore age-appropriate dance steps in a Creative Movement class each day. Dancers will begin to develop foundational technique, acute body awareness, imagery in movement, classroom etiquette, personal independence, self-confidence and so much more! Each day will include stories, crafts and prop creation to accompany our magical dances.
