Instructor Permission encouraged. Ballet III is a requirement along with this class.

Dancers will need Pink ballet shoes, leotard, footed tights. Hair must be in a bun.
Pre-Pointe is a pointe preparation class for serious ballet students interested in
dancing en pointe. A portion of the class is spent doing foot/ankle exercises and stretches on the floor. Students also do strenuous core strengthening exercises. A portion of the time will be spent
at the barre doing repetitious strength-building exercises. Pre-Pointe Class is
required before being considered to dance en pointe. The student will need to take
a minimum of one year of Pre-Pointe before being considered for advancement to
Pointe class.

Dancers will work on building their dance vocabulary, putting together combinations and using their tap shoes. Dancers will perform one routine in the winter show and 2 in the spring recital. Registration fee is for ballet shoes and tap shoe rental. Tuition is billed quarterly in September 1, December 1 and March 1 for $105. Late fee assessed after the 10th of the month. Costume Deposit of $60 billed in October with a balance in March (we try to keep costumes at $60 each).

This class format will be a 30 minute Tap only class. This class will focus on tap dance fundamentals. This class will learn 2 routines. The class will perform in a Winter Tap Showcase and the Spring recital. Other opportunities to perform may also become an option. Registration fee is for 1 costume (will be used for all performances). Dancers will be asked to purchase their own tap shoes as well. We will do our best to have shoes available to borrow to start the season and make suggestions for tap shoe purchasing into the season.
