Tiny Jig MON
Ages 2-3

Students attend 1 class per week.

Tiny Jig is our fundamental skills program that gives young dancers a place to learn the basic skills and concepts of Irish dancing and so much more! Dancers learn how to be a great classmate and part of a group setting by developing their listening skills, sharing their teacher's attention, and respecting each others boundaries. They develop music appreciation and we lean into their natural desire to move, wiggle, and dance! Most importantly, dancers in this class gain confidence in their independence from a caregiver and coming into class all by themselves.

Ages 4-5.

Dancers attend one class per week.

Dancers in our Pre-Beginner program build both their foundational dance skills along with stringing together skills to make their first jig steps. Dancers can be brand new Irish dancers or graduates of our Tiny Jig class. Dancers who move up from Tiny Jig will expand the skills they learned previously and advance their movements. It is always exciting to see dancers learn their first step! Pre-Beginners develop their ear for music by developing a sense of timing and rhythm as they learn to dance their step with music. This age group is naturally very social and curious about their classmates and we are always so happy to see friendships bloom in class!
