This class is required for all Performance Team members, and is also available to anyone ages 10-18 that wants additional dance training. Kinder Combo
This is a 45 minute beginner level ballet and tap class for ages 4-6. This class is designed to continue teaching basic dance vocabulary while emphasizing ballet etiquette and strong tap sounds. No previous dance experience is needed. Kinder Combo will perform a ballet dance and a tap dance at Motivate’s recital.

Kinder Acro
Kinder Acro introduces Acro-Dance to dancers 4-6. Acro combines techniques used in both dance and acrobatics. Flexibility, contortion, balance, and tumbling skills are all incorporated into the structure of this dance class. Mini/Kinder Acro will perform one routine in Motivate's recital.

Dream Dancers
This class is designed for children ages 4-18 with special needs or physical disabilities who have a passion for dance! Along with student volunteers, our dream dancers will learn fun, upbeat dance movement each week, and will perform one routine in our end of season recital!

Kinder Hip Hop
This 30 minute class is the next step from Mini Hip Hop. This style is performed with upbeat music and high energy. This beginning level class teaches students how to coordinate strong movements with popular music. If your child is interested in trying out dance for the first time and wants a less formal atmosphere, this is the class you’re looking for! No previous dance experience needed. Kinder Hip Hop will perform one dance at Motivate’s recital.

Ballet 3
This is a 45 minute class that continues ballet technique learned in Combo 2. In addition to etiquette and vocabulary learned in Combo 2, this intermediate level class begins to teach students to focus on their body alignment, turnout, musicality, and quality of movement. No previous dance experience is required, however this class will move at a faster pace as it is assumed that dancers already know basic ballet terminology. Ballet 3 will perform one dance at Motivate’s recital.

Lyrical 3
This 30 minute class continues lyrical technique for 10-12 year olds. Lyrical combines ballet technique with popular music. Lyrical is often described as a style that is performed to the lyrics of the music and has a soft, flowing quality. This class focuses on combining ballet and jazz technique, movement quality, and facial expression. No previous dance experience is needed, however it is recommended to also take Ballet 3 and Jazz 3 so students can further their understanding of the techniques used in this style. Lyrical 3 will perform one dance at Motivate’s recital.

Tap 3-4
This 30 minute class is the next step from Tap 1-2. In this class, students will continue to learn musicality and rhythm by creating a sequence of sounds with their own feet, along with using facial expressions. No previous dance experience is needed, however we recommend that this class is taken along with other classes to enhance students’ musicality skills in all dance styles. Tap 3-4 will perform one dance at Motivate’s recital.

Ballet Technique
Ballet Technique on Friday is an additional ballet class for dancers ages 8-18. This class is designed to continue technique learned in other classes throughout the week, and also serves as a make-up class when dancers are absent. There is no recital dance for this class.

Rehearsal
This rehearsal class is only open to dancers on the Motivate Dance Performance Team. It is mandatory for these members and is 45 minutes per week dedicated to practicing competition routines. All competition routines will be performed in Motivate's recital.

Choreography 3-4
Choreography is open only to dancers ages 10-18. Dancers will explore different choreography techniques and styles, and will assist in choreographing their recital dance. Dancers must be enrolled in Ballet 3,4, or Ballet Technique to register for choreography.
