Aerial Yoga
Also known as anti-gravity or suspended yoga, Aerial Yoga combines aspects of Yoga, Pilates and Aerial Arts in a workout that is designed to increase strength, mobility and flexibility as well as centre the mind and ease stress. Via the use of a supportive Aerial Yoga Hammock, poses that may be difficult to accomplish on the floor as well as variations of those poses are, instead, performed in the air. This class runs for a Full Term (Approx. 10 weeks) - No Previous Experience Needed Please bring water for hydration and wear form-fitting clothes that cover the underarms, the back of the knees and have NO zips.

Intro To PoleFit 4 Week Course 1 (Mon)
PoleFit combines elements of dance, acro and gymnastics, both on and off the pole, to create a fun and unique workout that increases strength, flexibility, stamina and confidence. This is a short Half Term course designed for beginners with little to no previous experience. You will learn basic spins, poses and floorwork, building a solid foundation of strength and coordination that can take you to the next level and beyond. Please bring water for hydration, a small towel to wipe your pole and wear exercise clothes with NO zips/metal details.

For anyone that has completed the Intro to PoleFit course or has previous beginner pole experience. This class focuses on non-inversion skills such as spins, poses and sits as well as flow and floorwork. With a more 1 on 1 teacher student feel, your instructor will guide you through the basics while also preparing you for Beginner Certificate credit and the move to the next level of PoleFit. Please bring water for hydration, a small towel to wipe your pole, a notebook so you can record your progress and wear fitted exercise clothes with NO zips/metal details.

Doubles Polefit (Tuesday)
This class runs for a Full Term (approx. 10 weeks) and is a combined level PoleFit class for students who have completed their Beginner Certificate class or who have experience with inverting. Admission to this class is at the discretion of the class instructor. Students will learn increasingly challenging moves as well as continuing to add to their repertoire of poses, tricks, combos and flow with a focus on working together in pairs, either with synchronisation or base/flyer scenarios. Please bring water for hydration, a small towel to wipe your pole, a notebook so you can record your progress and wear fitted exercise clothes with NO zips/metal details. Crop tops and short shorts will be needed.

Lyra/Aerial Hoop takes elements of dance, acro and qymnastics and places them in and around a circular steel apparatus suspended from the ceiling. It is a fun way to build strength, stamina, flexibility and confidence. This is a short Half Term course designed for beginners with little or no previous experience. You will learn basic poses, transitions and combos while building a foundation of strength and coordination. Please bring water for hydration and wear fitted exercise clothes that cover the backs of the knees and have NO zips/metal details.

Silk Tissue/Aerial Silks is the graceful art of mid-air dance and acrobatics via the use of a floor to ceiling fabric. Learn climbs, wraps, poses and drops while building flexibility, strength and confidence. This class runs for a full term (Approx. 10 weeks) and is an open level class for beginners through to more advanced students. No previous experience needed. Please bring water for hydration, a notebook to keep track of your progress and wear form-fitting clothes that cover the arms, legs and have NO zips/metal details.

Teen & Kids Circus Term 3 2018

Kids Circus Class (5yrs-10yrs) Tuesday
This is a fun class for kids to learn multiple disciplines such as Lyra (Aerial Hoop) Silk Tissue, Pole, Hula Hoop, Tumbling and Adagio. This class is open to both boys and girls aged 5-10yrs. No previous experience necessary.

Teenager Circus Class (11yrs-16yrs)
This class is for both boys and girls aged 11-16yrs. No previous experience is necessary and all athletes will learn skills in the following disciplines: aerial hoop, silk tissue, pole, tumbles, adagio, and hula hoop.
