Conditioning for Teens & Adults
A fun way to stay in shape while learning to relax the muscles! Instructor Adele Polak guides the class through dynamic stretching for full-bodied movement, then focuses on core-strengthening exercises on the mat combined with stretches that will unwind tension held in our back, necks and joints. This class is perfect for anyone who would like a companion class or healthy alternative to something like yoga. Mindful, beautiful, sharp… we can become just that with these exercises that fill one with breath and joy of life.

Core Circus
Join the circus and still be home for dinner in this exciting taste-test of circus skills! Each week offers an introduction and continuation of a variety of circus skills, juggling and object manipulation, balance (stilts, balance board, circus globe, low-wire), tumbling and partner acrobatics, and cooperative games. In this exciting movement filled class students develop core-strength, flexibility and coordination, and body-awareness while increasing self-esteem and social skills. Students create and present a short demonstration of skills to be presented on December 5. The new session begins the following week, details will be posted at the end of November. After April 23 this becomes a Circus & Dance Spectacular recital class. No experience necessary, ongoing enrollment.

Balance & Equilibristics
In this class we explore balance apparatus including stilts, rola bola, circus globe, unicycle, and partner acrobatics. This class is excellent for dancers and athletes to increase core strength, gross-motor skills, body awareness, and spatial awareness through techniques that will improve overall performance in their specific disciplines. Activities foster positive risk taking, trust, and teamwork in a non-competitive environment. After April 23 this becomes a recital class. No experience necessary, ongoing enrollment.

Circus Intro for Adults/Teens
In this class we will focus on strength and flexibility of body and mind. Exercises will include stretching and conditioning, light tumbling and partner acrobatics, equilibristics and balance, object manipulation, and improvisational theater technique. All fitness levels welcome. We will meet you at your level, and take it from there. What’s that mean? Don’t want to do a forward roll, no problem. Dying to learn a hand-stand? No problem. Think you’re uncoordinated? Think again. We will challenge you in all the right ways.

Big Little Circus
This play-based class focuses on activities that build core-strength, bi-manual coordination, and tracking and sequencing abilities, while fostering self-confidence and cooperation skills. We will tumble, juggle scarves, spin plates, balance our bodies on objects and balance objects on our bodies- but most especially we will have a lot of active FUN! Circus skills are excellent for physical, neural and social development in early childhood.

Beginning/Intermediate Peg Stilts
Learn the art and skill of stilt walking, dance, and acrobatics. In this class we will practice ground techniques including yoga poses, inversions, getting up & down, shapes, and more. Standing techniques focus on synchronized movement, choreography, dance, and navigating a variety of obstacles and terrains. Each class begins with proper falling and safety techniques before students strap in and stand up and ends with spotted falling onto mats. Stilts are provided, students must bring knee-pads. Class size is limited to 10 students.

Tap & Jazz Combo
In this class we split the time in half to cover two different styles. We will cover basic through intermediate tap techniques with a focus on classic tap style. The perfect class for beginners and also for those with some tap experience. Tap shoes are required for this class. Then we will combine ballet and contemporary movement as well as modern music. We will cover basic jazz techniques and build on them throughout the class.

Bellydance
The art of bellydance was was created BY Women and FOR Women to keep bodies, minds, and spirits toned, refreshed, and full of joy. Join us in this special class and learn basic and intermediate moves. No experience necessary! No difficult choreography to master. Just passionate, sensual, and beautiful fun for women of all ages. Teens through older adults welcome! Wear comfortable clothes. You may dance with socks or barefoot.

Contemporary Improv (adult)
Contemporary Improvisation invigorates the mind and body to find a great sense of physical freedom. This class is designed to foster people’s own individuality in movement whether you are a professional dancer/yogi or someone who has wants to explore your own potential. While increasing flexibility, balance, coordination, and stage presence, the class consists of structured movement improvisation and exercises that open up the senses to heighten the perception of our surrounding space. This full body workout will help the body's movement feel organic and more flexible. Exploring movement possibilities in this format tends to be the basis for contemporary choreography, so artists can be inspired here within the group experience. All levels welcome.

In Dance Mashup we will get to explore a little bit of every style of dance including: ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, line dance, and more. This class is perfect for those who want to try a little taste of every style and see which one speaks to them. Dance Mashup requires no previous dance experience and is perfect for those who have always wanted to try dance but didn’t know where to start! This class is for ages 8 and up.

Dancing Cards
A family dance improvisation class! Using Dancing Cards images and instructions as inspiration for movement, this cooperative class builds self-confidence and trust in all participants as they create dance and movement routines together. The non-judgmental approach towards movement awareness, the observant mind, makes dance experience free of stress and enjoyable. In addition to traditional benefits from physical activity the Dancing Cards movement tasks promote fine- and cross motor skills, spatial awareness and boost creative thinking. Art Studio
This unique Art Studio class creates space for students to explore and experiment with mixed media. Students are able to work on individual art projects or participate in a group effort. The focus of this class is to empower and support the art process with a hands-on teacher. This class will explore and have available: Pencil, Charcoal, Colored Charcoal, CRAY-PAS, Acrylic Paints, Watercolor Paint, Collage Paper, and more. We will have an Art Show presenting the best works on the last day of class. $5 monthly materials fee, collected by the teacher.
