How to use the Portal

Our online registration provides you with the convenience of registering and paying for classes online. This system is designed for both new students and parents who are not yet in our system, as well as returning students. All current students have been set up in the system, so you can locate your account details by searching for your Parent's Surname. Remember, each student must be linked to an assigned parent, who serves as the billing contact.

Enroll in Classes:
For existing students, verify and confirm your class enrollments.
For new students, utilise the "Register for Classes" link to select your desired classes.
Simply tick the boxes for your preferred classes, scroll down, and confirm your choice by clicking "Enroll Now."

Make Tuition Payments Electronically through the Portal (convenience fee 2.95%):
Ensure payment accuracy and efficiency.
Seamlessly execute electronic payments for tuition with speed and simplicity.

Alternatively, choose online bank transfer through provided bank details (no convenience fee added):

At Dance Associate, safeguarding your personal information is our priority. We are dedicated to adhering to the original Data Protection Act 1998 and The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) implemented in May 2018. Your privacy is crucial to us, and we're committed to ensuring a secure environment for all our members.

Scope of Privacy Notice:
This Privacy Notice encompasses the use of your personal information, including registration forms, competitive entries, and Dance and Drama examinations.

Consent and Usage:
By submitting your details, we assume consent to use them for administrative purposes, enabling us to provide you with the chosen products or services. We want to reassure you that Dance Associate does NOT share your personal information with third parties. We neither sell nor purchase data from third parties.

Security Measures:
Neither Dance Associate nor DanceStudio-Pro retains any credit card or financial information. Transactions are processed securely through Stripe's payment gateway.

Emergency Contact and Storage:
For emergency contact, we require a parent or guardian's contact mobile number. Your personal information will be stored securely and deleted as soon as it's no longer needed, in compliance with the Data Protection Act.

Communication Channels:
Non-emergency class information is communicated via email through the secure Dance Studio Pro Parent Portal. For this purpose, we require a regularly-checked email address. We'll send emails specific to your class and occasionally about relevant summer schools or workshops.

Newsletters and Updates:
We send one newsletter weekly/term through a secure Dance Studio Pro and Mailchimp integration. It contains important information about activities, term dates, new classes, and Dance Associate events. Please ensure you read the newsletter to stay informed about the school's activities.

Third-party Sharing and Updates:
We do not share your information with third parties unless legally required by UK childcare authorities. Kindly update any changes to your personal data on your secure Parent Portal for accurate records.
