Important News!

Dear Danceworks Family,
Being the director of Danceworks has been my life's work, and creating this studio: a place where dancers can come to enjoy the art of dance without drama or competition, has been my mission for thirty years. Together with some extraordinarily talented people, we've fostered an environment that is supportive, nurturing and welcoming to all. I could not be prouder.
That is why I am thrilled to announce that one of those extraordinarily talented people, Angelica Gonzalez, is the new director and owner of Danceworks. She is poised and ready to take Danceworks into the next decades in the spirit in which it was created. I hope you will help me welcome her into this new role.
I am excited to support Angelica as she takes the reins and will be here to guide her as she brings her own creative ideas to the studio. And I'm also very happy to be continuing as part of the Danceworks staff. I will be working with some of the most gifted dance educators I have ever encountered who are all equally as passionate about Danceworks' mission.
As we begin this new season and new chapter in the Danceworks story, I am looking forward to working with Angelica, teaching my usual ballet and tap classes, and continuing to be a part of the community I love so dearly.

Dear Danceworks Family,
Four years ago, Christine took a chance on me and hired me to be a part of her incredible team. I quickly fell in love with everything Danceworks stands for. A noncompetitive studio geared towards quality dance education in a supportive environment for all. I am honored to be given the opportunity to follow in Christine's footsteps as your new owner/director. I am looking forward to many wonderful seasons with our Danceworks Family. Our New Director

Angelica Gonzalez is the new owner and director of Danceworks Denville. Angelica, holds an AFA in Dance from County College of Morris and a BFA in Dance from Montclair State University. She has trained in various styles of dance such as ballet, Jazz, lyrical, hip hop, tap, and modern. Angelica is an Adjunct Faculty Member at County College of Morris, teaching both jazz and modern. Most recently, Angelica has completed Teachers Training School of Dance Masters of America- Level 1.
