Texas Youth Ballet's Year-Round Conservatory program offers your child the best classical ballet training available. Don't miss out on first pick of times and days. TYB's boutique size guarantees a lot of individual attention, but classes fill quickly. Please remember to read the Policy Manual in the shared files on this portal. We expect our dancers and their families to maintain a neat and tidy appearance and to follow the dress code and rules of conduct at all times.
Dancers wanting a professional career cannot expect to reach the level of skill necessary on just a few classes per week. Training for ballet is more intense and demanding than training for the Olympics. Young dancers wanting to train seriously receive a black ribbon, which denotes the accelerated level. Black level 1 is for Green through Gold Level and has 6 classes per week. Black level 2 is for Rose 1 & 2 and consists of 10 classes per week. Black level 3 is for Navy through Light Blue and consists of 15 classes per week. Our Pre-professional level requires 22 classes per week, rehearsals, and performances. All dancers in these levels have a customized schedule consisting of mixed levels, disciplines and accelerated classes to maximize their skills and meet their goals.
