Payment Policies

I understand that In Motion Dance Center’s tuition is for the full year and split up into ten (10) payments from September through June: September (Month 1), October (Month 2), November (Month 3), December (Month 4), January (Month 5), February (Month 6), March (Month 7), April (Month 8), May (Month 9), June (Month 10)

I understand that a non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of enrollment.

I understand the full year tuition covers a minimum of 30 weeks of lessons for the full year.

I understand that I will not receive any tuition proration, refunds, or credits for any classes missed during the year.

I understand that I will not receive a refund for costume payments if my child drops in the middle of the year.

I understand that I must keep a credit card on file and I give permission for In Motion Dance Center to charge my credit card the monthly tuition payment on the FIRST of every month.

I understand that In Motion Dance Center will charge my account a $25 late fee if payment is not made by the 1st of every month.

I understand that if my account is still delinquent by the 15th of the month my child will not be able to participate in class until my account is current.

I understand that In Motion Dance Center accepts cash, money orders or credit/debit cards and PayPal as form of payment for dance classes.


Credit Card Authorization

I authorize In Motion Dance Center to charge the credit card on file according to the terms outlined above.

I understand that my credit card will be charged monthly for tuition unless I cancel it prior to the 15th of the month, in writing.

I understand that I must notify In Motion Dance Center in writing prior to the 15th of the month if I choose to discontinue classes or wish to pay for those classes in another method.

I agree to notify In Motion Dance Center in writing of any changes in my account information.

I understand to terminate lessons; I must do so by filling out the drop form by the 15th of the month.

I understand and authorize In Motion Dance Center to charge my credit card a late fee of $25 if my account remains unpaid as of the 1st of the month. This includes non-payment due to expired or invalid credit card numbers on file.

I certify that I am an authorized user of this credit card and that I will not dispute the scheduled payments with my credit card company provided the transactions correspond to the terms indicated in this authorization form.


Release of Liability

o As the legal parent, guardian or adult student, I release and hold harmless In Motion Dance Center, its owners and operators from any and all liability, claims, demands and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises or any premises under the control and supervision of In Motion Dance Center, its owners and operators or in route to or from any of said premises.


Medical Emergency

The undersigned gives permission to In Motion Dance Center, its owners and operators to seek medical treatment for the participant in the event they are not able to reach a parent or guardian. I hereby declare any physical/mental problems, restrictions or conditions and/or declare the participant to be in good physical and mental health.


Photo Release

I hereby give In Motion Dance Center permission to publish photographs taken of my child or children and their names and likenesses, for use in the In Motion Dance Centers print, online and video-based marketing materials, as well as other In Motion Dance Center publications.

I hereby release and hold harmless In Motion Dance Center from any reasonable expectation of privacy or confidentiality for the child and children associated with the images specified above. Further, I attest that I am the parent or legal guardian of this child or children and that I have full authority to consent and authorize In Motion Dance Center to use their likenesses and names.

I further acknowledge that participation is voluntary and that neither I, the minor child, or minor children will receive financial compensation of any type associated with the taking or publication of these photographs or participation in company marketing materials or other In Motion Dance Center publications. I acknowledge and agree that publication of said photos confers no rights of ownership or royalties whatsoever.


Parent's Responsibility of Dates, Events & Policies

I understand that I am responsible for being aware of studio activities such as recitals and dates In Motion Dance Center is open and closed. I understand the studio may post notices in the studio and online on our website at www.inmotiondc.com and may, on occasion, send out emails, newsletters and/or text messages containing studio information. I understand it is my responsibility to keep contact information, such as email addresses, up to date with the studio office.

I understand that In Motion Dance Center answers email on a daily basis, except on weekends and that I should allow 24-28 hours for a response.

I understand that all questions need to be directed to the studio office and not to IMDC instructors or other parents.

I understand that if I register my child after January 31st, my child will not be able to participate in the year end recital, but can still participate in class.

I understand that In Motion Dance Center’s main form of contact is through email. I understand that I can contact In Motion Dance Center at anytime by emailing them at lauren@inmotiondc.com. I understand that I am responsible to read In Motion's e-mails since they contain important information about my child(ren)'s classes and any other In Motion related information.
