FEES
Parents/Guardians are fully responsible for the tuition payments in accordance with the McAleer Dance School. Students are enrolled for the full term/stage of dancing and fees are due weekly. ALL families will be required to pay their account via a weekly debit from a nominated credit or debit card through our Autopay system. The full term fee payment option, is not available.
New families will be required to set-up the AutoPay option at the time of enrolment. AutoPay is a service that automatically schedules and deducts weekly payments from your nominated credit or debit card. All debits will be made early Friday AM. We ask parents to ensure they have funds available in the account each Thursday in preparation of the debit.
An example of a weekly debit and all fees charged, is as follows:
Jenny Smith's weekly tuition is $20.00. Each Friday (early AM), the $20.00 tuition fee and a 2.7% process and handling fee (0.54c), will result in $20.54 being debited from the nominated card.
Parents can update their card details, via their Parent Portal at anytime.
Class fees are non-refundable, with the exception of withdrawal being due to a prolonged illness, serious injury or a family move which must be confirmed with appropriate documentation from a physician or company, whichever the case may be.
Additional charges will apply for enrolment fees, private lessons, workshop classes, costumes, costume accessories, exams and competitions, if the student wishes to take part.
MAKE UP CLASSES
If a student misses a class, families can apply via email to attend a make up class, if a class and space is If a student misses a class due to illness or extenuating circumstances, families can apply via email to attend a make up class, if a class and space is available within that term.
Payment plans can not be paused for families away during the dancing term on holiday. Families have the option to cancel their enrolment, and re-enrol (paying the fee) on their return, or remain enrolled in their class.

COMPETITIONS & EXAMS
Competitions and exam entry fees will not be accepted, if any outstanding tuition is owed. Students will be required to purchase/hire the costumes and or standard of costume as set by the Principal.
The teachers, students, parents and friends of the McAleer School must display the upmost sportsmanship behaviour always whilst attending competitions and exams.
Where possible, teachers will attend competitions to support dancers. Championship dancers are expected to be able to attend competitions with their families, warm-up and run through the dances prior to competing. When a teacher is present and available, all students can warm-up and run through with the teacher together.
STUDIO AND CAR PARK
All classes are closed to spectators. If a child is unable to be left in the studio without parental supervision, parents should recognise that the child is not quite ready for dance class. Parents are advised to drop the children off at the specified arrival time.
Students will then need to sit in the waiting area as allocated by the teachers and put on their shoes ready for class.
Parents are required to collect children at the time of the class ending. Our classes run to time, so please ensure you are also on time.
We encourage parents to leave students in our care during class times. This promotes independence and ensures complete focus.
Only students and teachers are permitted in our studios. Friends and siblings are unable to view classes.

All parents and students must park in the marked bays only.
Please take note of the on-street parking signs always.
