Terms & Conditions 2024
FEES POLICY
Fees are payable in advance of classes through DSP or invoice by request.
No refunds are given for missed classes due to sickness, family holidays, overseas trips, birthdays etc.
Refunds will only be given due to serious illness or injury with medical certificate, and bereavements.
Parents must contact the office to confirm an unenrolment prior to week 3 of term.
There will be no refund of term fees if a student leaves a class after the first 3 weeks of term.
Changing classes at any time will not incur any charges unless there is a discrepancy in the term fees.
Fees are payable strictly in advance prior to the term commencing to secure a place in a class.
If you have not paid your fees or attended class by week 3 of the term your enrolment will be cancelled.
Terms run for 9 weeks and if a Public Holiday falls in the term, classes that fall on the Public Holiday will be made up in Week 10.
Make up classes will be offered when a teacher is absent or unwell or a replacement teacher is unavaliable.
Your enrolment will not be processed if you have an outstanding balance on your account from a previous year or term.
Unlimited Fees exclude private lessons (dance, musical theatre, singing, piano or guitar) and troupe fees (troupe rehearsal and extension classes plus any other troupe associated fees).
If you are on an unlimited fee and taking more than one level in the same genre, we reserve the right to remove you from one of the levels if there is a wait list for the class.
Private Singing, Piano and Guitar lessons -
Payment for the term is due in advance. Please advise us of any lessons that will be missed at the start of term. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for any other missed lessons by you unless in exceptional circumstances.
You will not be charged for lessons missed due to public holidays. Any classes cancelled by the teacher will be compensated with a make up class or a refund
SHOW POLICY
Taking part in the end of year dance or musical theatre show is not compulsory although is highly recommended.
THEATRE SHOW - You will be invited to audition for the Musical Theatre shows. A show participation fee will be due on application. This fee is a contribution towards venue hire, costumes, rights and technical hire.
DANCE SHOW - A small production fee will be charged which includes access to all photographs taken at Dress Rehearsals. A costume fee will be invoiced which helps to cover sewing, purchasing of costumes and fabrics, laundering, storage and handling of costumes.
You do not get to keep your show costume.
Attendance at show rehearsals is compulsory.
During the show period, studio rehearsals and theatre week, there are no normal timetabled classes; please refer to your cast list.
UNIFORM POLICY
Uniform is compulsory for all classes and must be worn by the third class students attend. This includes all Dance, Musical Theatre and Acting classes however not required for music classes. Uniform is not required for private lessons.
FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
No person is permitted to record or take photographs at our studios without permission from the director or teacher.
Filming of the classes by the teacher will be posted on private sites or Dance Studio Pro for the purpose of training and practise.
