-Tuition/Dance Fees: Your account will be billed a monthly tuition installment 1 week prior to the new month. Payment is due by the 1st of each month. Tuition that is not paid by the 1st of each month will receive a $10 late fee. No refunds will be given for classes not attended. Monthly tuition is an equal payment plan for those that prefer monthly installments rather than paying the full amount up front. Tuition is based on a monthly fee, not per class basis. Rather there are 3 classes or 5 classes in a month tuition is the same. There will be no makeup classes for classes that are not attended. If we cancel a class due to a teacher being sick or bad weather we will do a make-up day or issue a refund for the missed class. You also agree to pay a registration fee per season.
-Returned Checks: If a check or bank transfer is returned for Non-Sufficient Funds your account will be charged a $25 NSF fee.
- Outstanding Balance: If your account gets over 1 month behind, you will receive an email reminding you of your outstanding balance and a copy of your invoice(s) that you can pay off your account balance. If your balance gets over 2 months behind you will get an email letting you know that your student will not be allowed to attend class until your account get caught back up. But during this time that slot in the class could be filled to another student. So please try to keep your account current so you don't lose your spot. If your class gets dropped and you want to re-enroll later we will charge a re-enrollment fee of $20. Any payment that is received will always be applied to the oldest invoice. Costumes and dance wear will not be ordered if you have an outstanding balance. If you have any questions or concern, please contact us.
-Class Observation for Dance Classes: During class, we want the dancer’s full attention. Having people come in and out of the class is distracting and makes it hard for each dancer to pay attention and learn at their full potential. A parent can watch during our observation days. Please remember to be quiet and respectful while watching so the students can stay focused. If there are too many distractions the teacher may ask you to step out. But please take advantage of our parent observation days, it is a good way to know how your dancer is doing. If your dancer is disrupting the class, we will ask the parents to help reinforce our policies so that each student can learn and stay focused.
- Class Attendance for Dance: Students are expected to be in class regularly if they want to participate in recital & competition numbers. If students are absent regularly, the studio reserves the right to not allow full participation in the recitals, competitions & other performances. You agree that no refunds will be given due to not attending class regularly. Please understand that when your student is absent, it makes it difficult for the teachers to teach & clean routines, and the teacher uses valuable time catching them up when they come back. So please try to get your dancer to class and on time. They do stretching and a warm up at the beginning of class and if they miss this it increases the risk of injury and growth as a dancer.
- Costumes/Recital: Lime-Light Dance Studio holds recitals throughout the year for all students. Each student will be expected to purchase all the costumes that are required for their class. Your costume will not be ordered if you have an outstanding balance at the time of ordering. If you have a balance on your account at the time of handing out costumes they will be held until the account is caught up. Dancers will not be allowed to perform at performances if there is an outstanding balance at the time of each performance. No refunds for costumes after they have been ordered. To perform in the recitals and performances during the year you agree to have all your tuition, costumes and fees paid in full at the time of the performance.
-Release: I understand that this is a full and complete release for all injuries which my child may sustain because of their participation in any activities at the studio or other venues we may perform at.
-Insurance: I understand that I will be responsible for having insurance in case of any injuries that may occur while attending Lime-Light Center.
-Dress Policy: Please no jewelry other than small stud ear rings. Jewelry can be a major risk of injury in a dance class. Students need to wear the correct dance wear for their specific class.
-Food/Drinks: Students may bring water to class, and it must be in a closed container. The students may bring snacks that they can eat during their break, but snacks will not be allowed in the dance rooms.
-Dropping Classes: If you want to drop classes, or stop taking dance please inform the Office or Studio Director before the 1st day of the month. (This will help the teacher make the changes needed in each dance) If not you agree to pay the next month’s tuition.
By signing below I understand and agree to all the terms and policies that are listed above.
