Registration: A non-refundable fee of $30.00 per student is required yearly at the time of registration and the first month’s tuition.
Automatic Payments: All accounts will have credit card information on file. Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. You will have until the 7th of every month to make a payment by cash or check. After the 7th, on the 8th day of the month or thereafter, your card will automatically be charged for tuition. Absence does not excuse any late payments. Mail in or phone in payments are acceptable in the event of an absence. A $20 late fee will be assessed on the 9th day of the month, if payment is not received.

En Pointe Dance Studio is committed to offering our dancers the best education & experience in the TriState area - with payments that are simple, easy, & budget friendly.
Extreme Weather or Unexpected Interruption of Classes: If the school must cancel classes due to extreme weather or other events, missed dance lessons may be made up in a similar style and level.
Substitutions: The school reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regularly scheduled teacher is ill or otherwise unable to teach classes. If a teacher ill and the school cannot arrange a substitute any missed classes will be made up.
Absence: Excessive absence or lateness may result in termination from school. Absence for any type of private lessons or Acting classes may not be made up. Dance lessons may be made up in a similar level and style.
Injuries: Parents, legal guardians of minor students and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on school property resulting from normal dance activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during or after class time.
Photo and Video Release: The school is hereby granted permission to take photographs or video of the students to use in brochures, websites, posters, advertisements and other promotional materials the school creates. Permission is also hereby granted for the school to copyright such photographs in its name.
Anti Bullying Policy of En Pointe Dance Studio
En Pointe Dance Studio commits to anti bullying. We provide a safe and loving studio family that instills positive relationships with peers enabling lifelong friendships through the love for dance. In order to guarantee that all of our dancers are able to best pursue their passion of dance, and ensure they thrive as good human beings from childhood through adulthood, we implemented a comprehensive anti-bullying policy applicable to our students, dance families, and staff as follows…
--We define bullying as any behavior; physical, verbal, and/or written (either electronically or in person), that detrimentally targets another dancer, family, or staff. This counts as bullying when it physically or emotionally harms a person, targets a person for any actual or perceived characteristic, or creates a hostile environment in the dance studio or dance related event/function.
--En Pointe will not tolerate bullying in any form; physical, emotional, social or otherwise. As such, one documented bullying event will have repercussions, which may include immediate termination of enrollment for violation.
--En Pointe Dance Studio reserves the right to warn verbally, in writing, (or both), and/or suspend temporarily or permanently without warning of said incident.
Pennsylvania Anti Bullying Law
When adults respond quickly and consistently to bullying behavior, they send the message that it is not acceptable. Research shows this can stop bullying behavior over time.
Parents, school staff, and other adults in the community can help kids prevent bullying by talking about it & building a safe school environment.
Pennsylvania anti-bullying laws include the following definitions of bullying and cyberbullying:
“Bullying” shall mean an intentional electronic, written, verbal or physical act, or a series of acts:
(1) directed at another student or students;
(2) which occurs in a school setting;
(3) that is severe, persistent or pervasive; and
(4) that has the effect of doing any of the following:
(i) substantially interfering with a student’s education;
(ii) creating a threatening environment; or
(iii) substantially disrupting the orderly operation of the school; and
“school setting” shall mean in the school, on school grounds, in school vehicles, at a designated bus stop or at any activity sponsored, supervised or sanctioned by the school.

It is the policy of En Pointe Dance Studio not to discriminate on the basis of race, religion, age, weight, marital status, gender, sexual orientation, citizenship status, creed, color, ethnic or national origin, military status, political beliefs and/or affiliation in its employment practices or in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship programs or other School-administered programs or activities.
Title VII of the Civil Rights Act says that discrimination and harassment are illegal if they are based on:

En Pointe will not tolerate discrimination will respond to discrimination complaints swiftly. You should expect:
Prompt, thorough, and impartial communication by someone other than those involved in the complaint
Confidential separate interviews with the individual complaining, the harasser, and any witnesses.
Research of the complainant and harasser's history for previous incidents elsewhere.
Limited disclosure of information in the complaint to avoid retaliation
Separating the complainant and the harasser while the research is ongoing, if possible.
Discrimination can lead to a student & their family, an employee & their family, or all parties involved to be terminated from any/all classes and/or employment.
