I understand that I must give 30 day notice from the first of the month to cancel.
(For example if you wish to cancel in December your 30 day notice must be given by November 1st, otherwise you will be responsible for December's full month tuition)

I understand that should classes have to be placed online due to a Statewide order, monthly tuition will still be charged and classes will meet virtually at regular time and day.

I understand that BDA does not prorate tuition.

I understand the costume fees & registration fees & participation fees are non-refundable or transferable.

DANCERS NEED TO ARRIVE DRESSED AND READY FOR CLASS TO ELIMINATE THE NEED TO BRING ITEMS INTO THE STUDIO. SHOES WORN OUTSIDE NEED TO BE REMOVED AT THE DOOR AND PLACED IN THE PROVIDED TRAYS. IF A DANCER HAS MULTIPLE CLASSES THEY MAY BRING ONE SMALL BAG TO BE PLACED ON A HOOK OR ON THE SHELF.

It is important for instructors to be able to see that the body is working safely and correctly-appropriate dance attire will allow for this. PLEASE NO CROP-TOPS, MIDRIFFS OR JEANS AT ANY TIME FOR ANY CLASS.

At times (mostly for performances) students will be asked to wear black leotard and black leggings. These are good items to have on hand. Also required for performances is a skin-toned leotard to wear as an undergarment and it protects any costumes owned by BDA.

HYGIENE: Dancers should wash hands thoroughly before and after class and always avoid touching hair, face and clothing during class. Dance Clothes should be washed after each use and dancers should arrive for class in clean dance attire. Dancers should be showered, reapply deodorant, and bring clean socks for dance classes. Dancers should always carry underarm and foot deodorizers in their dance bags.

Tippy Toes, Pre-ballet: leotard and tights, tutus are okay; Pink Ballet Shoes; hair pulled away from face

Ballet/Tap Combo: leotard and tights, tutus are okay; Pink Ballet Shoes & Black Tap shoes; hair pulled away from face.

Beg Ballet, Ballet 1, 2, 3: Black leotard, pink tights; pink ballet shoes; hair in tight ballet bun. NO tutus/skirts

Teen Ballet, Int/Adv Ballet: Black leotard, pink convertible tights; pink ballet shoes, hair in tight ballet bun. Skirt okay for pointe class.

Ballet-Males: Black fitted ballet pants, black shirt, black ballet shoes.

All other-Males: comfortable clothes with appropriate shoes for dance type.

Tap: Leotard or tank (any color), tights or leggings; black tap shoes, hair pulled away from face. For Advanced Tap students may be required to have a pair of tan tap shoes with kitten heal.

Jazz: Leotard or tank (any color), tights or leggings; , hair pulled away from face.
Shoes: TAN Jazz Shoes. NUDE Character shoes for Int. & Adv. level classes will be needed.

Modern, Lyrical: Leotard or tank (any color), tights or leggings; bare feet or foot paws, hair pulled away from face

Hip hop: Leotard or tank (any color), tights or leggings; black or gray tennis shoes (to be used indoors only), hair pulled away from face

Musical Theater: Leotard or tank (any color), tights or leggings; black jazz shoes, hair pulled away from face. Tan character shoes required for Adv. Broadway.

Adult Classes: Drop-in adults students may dress for their specific type of dance or wear what they feel comfortable wearing.

Studio Productions: Nude colored leotard as a base layer, black leotard, black leggings
