I have read and agree to the following:
Registration Information:
Summer Registration:
- Onetime payment in full.​
- Dancers must be the appropriate age for any given class by January 1st.
Fall Registration: ​
- 1st month's tuition and a $30 registration fee per child are due at the time of registration.
- ​Recital Costumes and performances: Please read our full costume policies for more detailed information.
- Recital Shows: To avoid having to attend multiple recitals, at registration take note what show your selected class has been assigned to, i.e., Recital A, Recital B, Recital C. Families with dancers in more than one show must purchase tickets for each show.
- Registering after October 15th: Costume payment is due with your registration. ​ ​​
- Registering before October 15th: Costume payments will automatically be charged to the card on file on October 15th.
- Pay yearly tuition in full in September and receive a 5% discount (only offered in September and paid by cash or check)
- Dancers must be the appropriate age for any given class by January 1st.
Tuition Policies: Tuition Chart
- Tuition is broken down into 9 payments due on the 1st of the month. The season runs September-June.
- June tuition will be due with or before your second Tuition payment. June's tuition holds the dancer's spot in the class for the year.
- Tuition is due before the 1st of the month. Cards on file will automatically be charged on the first of the month for October -May. ​
- Cash or check payments must be made at least 5 business days prior to the auto charge date to avoid having your card processed.
- Credit cards must have a line of credit. Bank or debit cards are not accepted. American Express not accepted.​
- No refunds or credits given for any missed classes, quarantine, or inclement weather.​
- Unlimited tuition is for siblings only.
- Unlimited Tuition Company members: Production counts as a class. Free classes do not count towards the unlimited package.
- Dancers must be appropriate age by January 1st.
Late fees:
- Late fees are applied the day after the due date and are not waived for dancers who do not have a valid card on file.
- $10 late fee is automatically applied on the 2nd for tuition or the day after the due date.
- There will be a $25 charge for any return checks or declined credit cards.
- Any outstanding balances past 60 days will result in the dancer not participating in class or receiving their costumes. Any outstanding balance past 90 days will be handled by a collection agency.
Absent, Missed, Quarantine or Inclement weather:
- If your child will be missing a class, please call before the class to let the teacher know. Students are entitled to a make-up class by appointment only.
- Tuition is not prorated for absent, missed, quarantine or inclement weather.
- In the event of extreme weather, emergencies, or government mandated shutdowns there will be no refunds provided for missed classes. If these shutdowns last longer than two weeks, we will then provide make-up classes. Due to the nature of the closure or shutdown these make up classes may be provided via zoom.
- Dancers that must quarantine may attend their actual class via zoom (or wait to schedule a make-up class in the studio). Please notify the office prior to class, so we can inform the instructor we have a zoom attendee.
Make-Up Classes:​
Dancers can schedule a make-up class in any age appropriate class on the schedule (does not have to be in the same genre). Please call ahead to schedule the make-up class. Make-ups should be scheduled within 2 months of the absences.
Withdrawal:
- All dancers are signed up for their class from September-June unless a written notice is given.
- Written notification of withdrawal to the office (not the instructor) is required BEFORE the AUTOCHARGE DATE prior to the 1st of the month. If this deadline is not met, the card on file will be charged.
- If a recital costume has already been purchased, please contact the studio in May to pick up the costume. All costume fees are non-refundable.
Students may receive a full refund for June’s tuition only (not including registration fees and minus any credit card fees) during the first four weeks of classes. Beyond that time, no refunds will be issued.
- If a dancer chooses to re-enroll after dropping all classes, there will be an additional re-registration fee of $30.
- If the account has any outstanding fees that are passed due after dropping, the card on file will be automatically charged. The card will be removed from our autopay system once the account has a zero passed due balance .
​Refunds:
- All registration fees, tuition, costume payments, competition entry fees, deposits, balances, etc. are non-refundable.
- June tuition: During the first four weeks of classes students may receive a full refund for June’s tuition only (not including registration fees and minus any credit card fees). Beyond that time, no refunds will be issued.
- No refunds are given after December 1st for all tuition payments made in full.
- No refunds or adjustments will be made for school closings, quarantine, sickness, or excused absences.
- Tuition will NOT be prorated for missed classes. In the event of extreme weather, emergencies, or government mandated shutdowns, there will be no refunds provided. If these shutdowns last longer than two weeks, we will then provide make-up classes. Due to the nature of the closure or shutdown these make up classes may be provided via zoom

Trial Class:
Platinum Performance does offer free trial classes. First trial class is complimentary for all prospective students and $15 for each additional trial class. A trial class does not guarantee your a dancer a spot in the class. To sign up for a trial class please create an account online then contact the studio and we can further assist you.
Adding A Class:
The last day to add a class without additional charges is November 1st. After that date, any dancer wanting to add a class will have to purchase a new costume and pay the individual shipping.
Switching Classes:
The last day to switch a class without additional charges is November 1st. If a dancer is switching classes after November 1st, the dancer may keep the costume of the original class but must additionally purchase the new class costume. There is no credit given for the original costume. The original costume cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Recital Shows:
Platinum Performance has been able to provide separate recital performances for our Petite Program dancers. Dancers in the Petite program do not perform in the same show as Junior or Teen dancers.

Zoom Recital:
In the event of extreme weather, emergencies, or government mandated shutdowns there will be no refunds provided for costumes or tuition. Due to the nature of the closure or shutdown the recital may be provided via zoom.
Costumes: Students must purchase the mandatory costume, tights, and shoes for each class.
Recital Costumes:

- When registering after October 15th: Costume payment is due with your registration.​

Competition Costumes: In addition to the above please read the team handbook for more information.
Costume Sizing:
Dancers will be sized in October. If you have a size request, please speak with the office before October 1st. Once costumes arrive, dancers will try them on in class. Costumes cannot be exchanged once they leave the building. Platinum Performance is not responsible for alterations.
Dress Rehearsal & Picture Day:
Recital and Dress Rehearsal are mandatory for all dancers. A photographer will be present to take individual and class pictures of your child in each of his/her costume on the day of the mandatory dress rehearsal. Specific class information will be mailed out in May. Individual pictures are not mandatory.
Dress Attire:
All shoes must be purchased to participate in class. Any dancer that does not have the proper dance shoes by October 1st will not be permitted to participate in class. No street wear permitted. Black leotard and bun are mandatory for all Ballet classes. Please view our DRESS CODE for specific class requirements.
Conduct:
Students, parents, and teachers are always expected to conduct themselves with respect for one another. Teachers can refuse to allow a child to continue in class if their behavior or dress attire is deemed inappropriate. Bullying is not accepted at any time: in class, on social media or at any Platinum event. Dancers making any inappropriate comments in class, on social media or at an event may be dismissed from the studio.
Parent Observation:
At this time lobby monitors and observation windows are closed. Observation availability for our 6 and under program will be done via zoom. Zoom Links will be sent home for each class so parents can view from the comfort of their car or home.
Schedule:
Teachers and class times are subject to change. Classes with less than 5 students may be altered to accommodate for the smaller class size.
Insurance:
Platinum Performance dance Academy is not responsible for any injuries or accidents incurred in or around the property or at any Platinum event.
Competition Team (Please read the team itinerary and handbook for more detailed information. The Team Handbook can be found in the parent Portal):
In addition to the above:
- All dancers are required to have a credit card on file.
- Costume payments will be drafted in 3 installments. Detailed information will be distributed.
- Competition deposits are due in September with the remaining balances due by the deadline.
- Credit cards are not accepted for private lessons. Please speak with Director for payment options.
- All registration fees, tuition, costume deposits, balances, etc. are non-refundable.
- In the event of extreme weather, emergencies, or government mandated shutdowns there will be no cash refunds provided for missed, postponed, or cancelled competitions. In the case of extreme weather or a government mandated shutdown, competitions reserve the right to hold 50% of the entry fees as a credit for the following season. The remaining credit will be applied to the dancers account.
- In the event of extreme weather, emergencies, or government mandated shutdowns virtual competitions may be added to the schedule in placement of a physical event. This is at the discretion of the Director.

As a Reminder you MAY NOT send your dancer under any circumstances if the following apply:
- If you are waiting for results of a Covid-19 test
- If you have been required to quarantine for any reason (such as school closure)
- If you're sick for any reason​ ​
