Appropriate dance wear is required for all classes. Please see our dance wear breakdown on the Vicki’s website and in the “Start of Dance Year” email. The waiting area and bathroom are shared spaces and should remain quiet and clean at all times.

The first two weeks of classes are considered trial classes for all students. If any students or parents go against any Vicki’s School of Dance policies, or their dancer creates an unsafe or distracting environment to other dancers in the class, we reserve the right to remove them from our dance classes. Students who have excessive unexcused absences after March 1st may not be allowed to participate in the year-end dance recital. Each case will be handled on an individual basis and is at the discretion of Vicki’s School of dance staff.

COVID UPDATE: The studio waiting room is open to parents. We take the health and safety of our dancers and their families very seriously so any changes in safety procedures for COVID will be emailed to all parents and discussed before we make any changes at the studio. As of right now masks are optional for all dancers.

I/we realize that participation in dance classes, rehearsals, performances, and other activities could involve possible personal injury. Despite precautions, accidents, and injuries may occur. By agreeing to this form, I/we (the dancer and parent/guardian) assume all risks related fo the use of any and all spaces by Vicki’s School of Dance.

I/we agree to release and hold harmless Vicki’s School of Dance, including its teachers, dancers, staff members and facilities use by Vicki’s School of Dance from any cause of cation, claims, or demands now and in the future. I/we will not hold Vicki’s School of Dance for any personal injury or any personal property damage, which may occur on the premises efore, during or after classes. Furthermore, I/we agree to obey to the class and facility tules and take full responsibility for my.our behavior in addition to any damage I/we may cause to the facilities utilized by Vicki’s School of Dance.

In the event I/we should observe any unsafe conduct or conditions before, during or after my/our classes, I/we agree to report unsafe conduct or conditions to the Artistic Director, Individual Instructor, or staff member as soon as possible.

We authorize Vicki’s School of Dance its owners and staff with medical, hospital or emergency personnel to carry out all treatment and diagnosis determined by them to be necessary. This shall include rendering of emergency car situations where it would be impractical or impossible to obtain additional consent. I have listed any allergies or other medical issues in my child's form.

Vicki’s School of Dance is hereby granted permission to take photographs and video of the students to use in brochures, web sites, advertisements and other promotional materials. Please specifically notify us if you absolutely do NOT want your child in any photos or videos that are used to promote this studio.

All Vicki’s School of Dance, dancers are not required to perform in our Christmas Show and Spring Recital but we highly recommend it. Senior and Junior Dance Society members are required to be at all functions that his/her group is asked to perform at. Part of learning dance is performing dance and remember, your child is part of a group which only functions, at its best, with all of its members.

If your dancer will not be participating please inform us before the 1st of October for the Christmas Show, and December 1st for the Spring Show. This is for the sake of costume ordering and formations. All costume money is due by November 8th (Christmas Show) and December 20th (Spring Show). Any costume money that is not brought in by those dates, your child(ren)s costume will NOT be ordered. Once payment is brought in, your costume will then be ordered, however we cannot guarantee that the company will still have your dancers size or costume in stock. Therefore money needs to be brought in on time so their costumes are ensured to be ordered. Any costumes that are unavailable will result in your child not being in the performance.

Vicki’s School of Dance accepts cash, and checks. Payments can also be made with a credit card at the studio with a 3% service fee. Payments are monthly and are due the first class of each month. All Monthly Tuition Payments for the regular season (September - June) include some Spring Recital Participation fees (including but not limited to recital performance tights, accessories, 1 complimentary ticket and Performance T-Shirt). Tuition remains the same whether it is a long or short month, in person or virtual (hopefully only used for snow days). The first month's tuition is due at your dancers first class. Any attendance during the month constitutes a full month's tuition. Students will not be allowed in class if tuition payments are not made by the late fee date. Late fees will be added the week after the first of the month and will incur a $10.00 fee.
