I hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless Pose Performing Arts, its owner, members, and all employees of these parties from all liabilities, suits, claims and/or demands of any kind or nature, legal or financial, whether caused in any way by the negligence or not, arising from the participation in or observation of any Pose Performing Arts activity for injuries to any person or property, whether on or off the premises. The student/participant named above does voluntarily participate in any and all Pose Performing Arts activities and that the student/participant and I understand that certain risks are inherent to and from participation and involvement with Pose Performing Arts and in its various formal and informal activities. These activities include but are not limited to Dance and Performance. Pose Performing Arts is not responsible for any lost or stolen property, at any time. Anyone found to be violating any of the rules, codes of conduct, or found to be disruptive to either another individual or group may be asked to leave the premises or off-site location at any time and be refused reentrance without any full or partial refund. I hereby irrevocably grant to Pose Performing Arts perpetually, exclusively, and for all media throughout the world the right to use and incorporate, in whole or part, photographs or video footage taken as a result of participation in Pose Performing Arts activities. I hereby authorise Pose Performing Arts, it’s owner and all employees to act for the student/participant named above according to their best judgement in providing or arranging for emergency care in any emergency circumstance requiring medical attention. I request and authorise that in my absence the student/participant named above be admitted to any hospital or medical facility for diagnosis and treatment.
FEES & POLICIES 2020
1. All parents must enrol in Autopay through the Parent Portal of Dance Studio Pro.
2. We have THREE ways to pay fees at Pose Performing Arts. You can pay in FULL before the first lesson of the term and receive a 5% discount on your tuition. To receive the 5% discount this must be paid in cash or cheque to our office. You may transfer the full amount to our bank account by the start of week two (or pay online via PayPal, by cash or cheque to our office) Our bank details are: BSB: 032250 Acct No: 398812 Name: Pose Performing Arts
4. Anyone with a balance on their account by the START of week 3, will automatically be charged 50% to their nominated card and the remaining 50% will be charged at the start of week 5.
5. A $25 LATE FEE will be charged to any account with an unpaid balance by week 4 (IF NOT ENROLLED IN AUTO PAY)
6. A $10 dishonour fee will be charged to any declined cards and payment will be attempted every monday afterward.
7. Fees are non refundable and must be paid for the full term, regardless of whether you continue. To discontinue classes you must email admin@posepa.com.au by week 8 of the current term so that you will not be charged for the following term.
8. If more than three weeks are missed due to illness or injury, weeks missed may be credited to your account with a medical certificate.
9. Fees are averaged out over four terms and each term is the same cost regardless of weeks or public holidays. There are no regular classes on public holidays.
10. Parents do not watch lessons. At the end of each term, parents are invited to watch the last 15 minutes of class to see the progress of their child throughout the term. They may watch at any time on the CCTV in foyer.
11. Parents do not approach teachers directly regarding the progress/routine placement of their child. All queries should be made through the office and if a parent has concerns, a meeting will be set up between studio owner, teacher and parent.
12. Teachers and staff should not be contacted on their personal mobile phones or Facebook pages. Please use the office email and any queries and questions will be forwarded to the teacher. Nasty comments on social media regarding the academy/staff/students will not be tolerated and may result in being asked to leave.
13. Most correspondence is made via email. Correct email address must be on file at all times. Please join our Facebook page, and our team app to stay as informed as possible.
14. POSE Uniform and correct shoes must be worn to each class. Full uniform requirements are in the POSE handbook.
15. Hair must be in a bun for ALL ballet & turns and technique lessons and tied neatly back for all other classes.
16. Students should aim to arrive 15 mins before class so they can be ready with the correct shoes on at the start of each lesson. Parents and Students should treat teachers with respect. If there is a problem between Teacher/Parent or Student, please contact the Studio Owner directly so it can be resolved ASAP.
17. Costume levy is non refundable if you stop classes.
18. If costume ordered is greater/less than $80 (Recreational) $100 (performance) the balance/credit will be added to term 4 fees.
19. No costumes will be handed out until all fees are finalised.
20. The student and parent handbook must be read and the POSE code of conduct adhered to.
