Selah Policies and Tuition
Tuition fees are payable to, Selah Academy, the first week of each month. Cash, check and payment via your online Parent Portal and PayPal are accepted. Checks can be made out to, Selah Academy. Payments that are received after the tenth of the month will be subject to a $25.00 late fee.

Tuition can be paid monthly, every 2 months, every 3 months or for the entire year. It is up to the parent depending on what is most convenient for them.

Tuition & registration fees are nonrefundable.
There will be no refunds or credit for classes missed. If you miss a class, you have the opportunity to make up a class within 60 days. Please check for the appropriate day and time. The monthly payment is based on the full season of classes (September-May). It is not based on the number of classes that fall into each month. All holiday breaks have been already considered into your monthly payment. You do not pay more for longer months nor do you receive a discount for shorter months.

Registration fee: $45 a family

Tuition for first class:

45 minutes: $65
1 hour: $75
1.25 hour: $85
1.5 hour: $95

Tuition for each additional class:

45 minutes: $50
1 hour: $60
1.25 hour: $70
1.5 hour: $80

Dress Code:

Pre Primary Ballet: Any color leotard, pink footed tights, pink ballet shoes. Ballet shoes from Capezio or Bloch are recommended. Shoes from Target and Payless are not allowed. Skirts are optional. All tights are to be worn in shoes. Hair must be in a neat bun. No jewelry, except for stud earrings.

Primary, Ballet I, II, III, IV & V Levels: Black leotard, pink footed tights, pink ballet shoes. Ballet shoes from Capezio or Bloch are recommended. Shoes from Target and Payless are not allowed. All tights are to be worn in shoes. Hair must be in a neat bun. No jewelry, except for stud earrings.

All Level Ballet Classes for Boys: White leotard or T-shirt, black tights or leggings, black ballet shoes. Ballet shoes from Capezio or Bloch are recommended. Shoes from Target and Payless are not allowed.

Tap: Dancewear of any color, black tap shoes and hair pulled away from face and securely fastened.

Jazz and Modern: Black leotard, leggings or jazz pants of any color, and hair pulled away from face and securely fastened. No jewelry. Jazz shoes are needed for jazz and modern is taken bare foot.

*Hair must be pulled up and secured for all classes. No jewelry other than stud earrings are allowed in class.

Observation
Classes are closed to observers. Parent observation week is TBA.

Class Placement
Class placement is either determined by age or ability. The best interest of every student is taken into consideration.

Classroom Etiquette
- There is never gum chewing in a ballet class, or any dance class.
- Students may bring water to drink.
- Students must be picked up promptly inside studio.
- Talking or any kind of disruption in the classroom will not be tolerated.
- Students will not be allowed to take class without the necessary hair and attire requirements met.
- Cell phone usage in class is not allowed.

Release of Liability:
I understand that Selah Academy LLC is not responsible for any injuries sustained prior to the beginning, during or following classes. I release Selah Academy LLC from any and all liability for any injury, illness, or property damage occurring during instruction or performance. I understand that the class space is not accountable for any injury, illness, or property damage occurring during instruction or performance. I certify that my child is in good health and capable of participating in all of the activities and classes. Selah Academy LLC has my permission to take photos and videos of my child and consent to use such materials for promotional purposes. I understand that financial credit will not be given for missed classes; however make-up classes can be taken.

•Payments that are received after the tenth of the month will be subject to a $25.00 late fee. If late twice, the parent must enroll in auto-pay.

•Tuition & registration fees are nonrefundable. If you wish to unenroll, please notify us before a new month begins.

•We do not issue refunds for missed classes. If you miss a class, you have 60 days to attend a make up class. Please check with us for the appropriate day and time.

•You can unenroll at any time, but you cannot pause tuition. If you wish to unenroll, you will be charged a registration fee upon returning.
