All Studio 2 Dance teachers put the safety of their students in the highest regard and will do their utmost to ensure the highest of safety standards. I acknowledge that dance classes can involve some elements of risk which may cause personal injury. Studio 2 Dance accepts no responsibility for any injury that is caused during dance/activities at the studio or at an associated event. I also understand that it is the responsibility of the student or their parents to make sure that their child is physically and medically fit to participate in class and performances. I give consent for first aid to be provided to my child when and if it is necessary.
1. Enrolment continues from time of enrolment for the full academic (calendar) year. I do not need to re enrol each term. 2. If I decide to withdraw my enrolment for any reason, I will be required to give two weeks' notice and my invoice will be adjusted. Notice must be given in writing via email or letter and must contain a date on the letter. 3. I understand that if my child does not return to classes in a subsequent term and I have not advised the studio prior to the end of the previous term will be required to pay the cancellation fee of $50. 4. At the owner's discretion, enrolment may be terminated due to disruptive behaviour of the student and/or parent/s. 5. Any student/family member who willingly/knowingly breach any of our policies, will result in immediate termination of enrolment.
1. All dance tuition fees will also be posted to your account at the start of the term. Payment can be made online (credit card charges apply) or via bank transfer. 2. Annual Admin Levy S2D - There is an annual $50 administration levy which is issued first statement of the year regardless of when enrolment occurs. This levy covers liability insurance, APAR licence and administration costs and is non-refundable. 3. Fees are to be fully paid by the due date shown on your account (14 days after issue). 4. There are no refunds or credits for missed classes, unless a medical certificate is provided where in a credit will be applied to the following term's fees. 5. Students joining mid-term are charged according to the remaining weeks of the term. 6. Studio 2 Dance still holds classes on public holidays (unless otherwise stated). 7. A costume levy will applied to your account in Term 2 for hire of costumes for our annual production and is non-refundable. 8. Payment Plans are available and incur a $20 setup fee. Please contact admin to set up. 9. COVID-19 Clause: If government legislation requires dance facilities to close due to COVID restrictions, no refund will be offered, as classes will continue online for the remainder of the term. No refund or credit will be offered if a student has to isolate due to government restrictions as all classes will be streamed live for students to access from home. 10. If at any stage outstanding fees are forwarded to our debt collection agent, an additional 20% will be added to cover their fees. 11. At the owners' discretion, enrolment may be terminated if there are ongoing concerns paying term fees.
Parents, students and visitors to the studio (or at other related venues/events) are prohibited from videoing or photographing students, classes, routines due to child protection and copyright laws regarding music and choreography. Students/Families found posting any photos or videos on any social media platforms without the consent of the studio, will be asked to remove it.
