You must be over 18 to register for an account.
No payment is required until you register for a class.

All parents/guardians or dancers over the age of 18 must sign the Inherent Risk and Cancellation Policies before signing up for any classes.

By paying the registration fee, tuition or deposit, you agree to the following terms:

Drop Ins, Summer Programs, Non-Recital Classes, Workshops, Auditions: No refunds for any reason.
There are no attendance requirements or costume fees for these classes.

Term Classes: We cannot accept full tuition payments for our term classes. Monthly payments can be made online through the portal. Please sign up for Autopay to have your payments processed automatically.
Withdrawal policy for term classes: Please give notice to withdraw before the 2nd monthly payment is due, this will stop the further payments. At registration, you are committing to pay at least 2 monthly payments. After the second month, all remaining payments in the term will be due regardless of attendance. We encourage dancers to try other classes and will allow them to switch into a different class that may be better suited. Please consider doing a trial class if you do not want to commit to two monthly payments. Trial classes are available for select classes only.
In order to participate in our performances or competitions, dancers will need a costume for each routine.

Competition Team Withdrawal: Commitment for the full season is required to participate on the competition team. By paying the first month's tuition, you are responsible for the full 9 months of tuition payments. There is no withdrawal period for the competition team. Entry fees, costume fees and tuition will be due regardless of attendance.

Media Release:
As a student of Down East Dance Academy, you are permitting us to post photos and/or video of your dancer on our website and/or social media. We will not tag students or post their names or personal information.

I grant my son/daughter/ward(s)permission to participate in Down East Dance Academy's
Dance programs. I acknowledge that certain risks of injury are inherent in physical
activity and that participants are responsible for their personal health insurance in the unlikely event
that an injury occurs. I (we) do hereby release Down East Dance Academy, its employees, volunteers,
owners and operators and independent contractors from all liability, claim causes of action of any
kind whatsoever in respect of all personal injuries, loss of life or property losses which our daughter/
son/ward (I) may suffer arising out of the activities offered through Down East Dance Academy.

It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to complete the health information section of the Portal and update the instructor of any changes to the medical status of the student.
