COVID-19 and Greensboro Dance Theatre
Symptom Monitoring: We will continue to screen each child as they enter the studio each day. We expect that each family will monitor themselves and their dancers daily for symptoms of COVID-19 and stay home if they experience symptoms. Symptoms may include: cough, sore throat, muscle aches, fever (over 100.0 F), shortness of breath, fatigue, loss of taste or smell, congestion or runny nose, or nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. If your dancer or a family member in your household is experiencing any of these symptoms, or has been exposed to a known or suspected positive COVID-19 person, please contact us and plan to stay home
Isolation: If a close contact or someone in your household tests positive for COVID-19, you are required to notify us for the continued safety of all of our dancers and their families. We will ask that your dancer stays home for 10 days following the end of the positive person’s quarantine to ensure the safety of their return. Dancers will be expected to attend classes virtually via Zoom during their isolation.
Testing: If your dancer or someone in your family is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, we will require that you seek counsel from a physician or receive testing for COVID-19 and provide documentation before returning to the studio.
Schedule Changes: Due to the unknown nature of the situation regarding the pandemic, there is a chance we may need to close the studio for in-person instruction indefinitely at any time. By signing this contract, you agree to attend virtual class options any time the studio must be closed due to health and safety concerns.
I agree to the aforementioned conditions as stated above, and understand that failure to follow these policies may result in removal of your dancer from classes for safety reasons.
