2. Minis (Level 1)

4. Teens (Level 3)
D. Attendance & Time Commitment
Attendance will be taken and noted at each class. If you have three unexcused absences, RCDC will discuss the best option for your child going forward. If you have an emergency, please contact RCDC, BEFORE class, not after, if possible. RCDC will make an effort to be understanding with accommodating schedules, but the ultimate responsibility for attendance lies with the dancer and parent/guardian. All dancers must be picked up after class within 15 min. If parent is going to be late, a call must be received. If consistent tardiness occurs, an alternate plan would be discussed to ensure tardiness doesn't continue. Schedules will be discussed and posted in advance with holiday cancellation dates and other special events.
Due to the teaching format of each class, we prefer that parents do not stay with their child inside of the dance space. This ensures both the focus of each student and the learning environment to be the best possible.
E. Professionalism
As an RCDC dancer you should display a professional working attitude during classes, preparations for performances, and to all other dancers. Group energy must be maintained – a positive atmosphere promotes growth. RCDC is a family and it is fully expected that each individual within the company contributes to the group as a whole.
Everyone is expected to be on time and stretched by class time. If 10 minutes late, you are asked to notify someone so that the instructor can be aware of the child’s tardiness. If you are more than 10 min late, you will not be allowed to participate in class, only observe; no exceptions for this rule! You will not be refunded for that particular class, if you are absent or miss the class. Only water is allowed in the studio. No food or sodas/juices allowed inside the studio space to keep the cleanliness of the studio.
If your child has to be removed from the studio, a written notice within 30 days has to be provided to the studio. There will be no fees refunded on any circumstances (i.e., recital, costume, tuition).
F. Calendar and Closings
* RCDC follows most traditional Public School's calendar except Jewish holiday closings. (RCDC is opened during Jewish holidays)
* RCDC will communicate closings and delays via email and/or text
* Make up classes, if necessary, will take place in May and/or June
* Tuition will not be prorated or refunded due to weather related issues
* Tuition is inclusive of holidays/ holiday closures.
G. Class Behavior
RCDC dancers are expected to practice respect to themselves, their peers, and RCDC instructors at all times.
Dancers should:
* Honor their teacher and dance mates by giving full attention and cooperation in class
* Refrain from engaging in disruptive behavior individually or with other students during class
* Refrain from Interacting with cell phones/ other technology during class Parents will be made aware if dancers are not adjusting well to the classroom environment.
In the event that RCDC has a concern with a dancer, a meeting between RCDC, the dancer, and any other party involved will be held. Depending on the severity of the issue, a warning will be given. Each dancer is allotted 2 warnings of the same issue within a 6 month period and/or three warnings of different issues within a 6 month period before the dancer is asked to sit down. The following will result in immediate dismissal: delinquent accounts, inappropriate behavior and destruction of studio or other student's property.
*** As RCDC would like every dancer to remain with the company, there are conflicts that do arise. RCDC requires proper notification of any dancers that need to quit for any reason. No explanation is needed. No refund of any class will be given once paid by the dancer.
H. Sick Policy
If a dancer complains of being ill or sustains an injury and cannot participate during class, our staff will contact the parent immediately. Dancer(s) with a temperature of 100.2º or with any Covid-19 symptoms will NOT be allowed to attend class for the duration of the day. A negative Covid test is required before returning to class.
I. Anti Bullying & Harassment Policy
Revamp Contemporary Dance Company provides a safe and supportive community that fosters a lifelong love for dance and creative expression. In order to guarantee that all of our dancers are able to best pursue their passion, we implemented a comprehensive anti-bullying and harassment policy applicable to our dancers, dance families, staff, and employees. We define bullying as any physical, verbal, written (either electronically or in person) behavior that detrimentally targets another person. Acts are considered bullying when it physically, socially, or emotionally harms a person and/or targets a person for any actual or perceived characteristic or creates a hostile environment in the dance studio.
J. Public Relations
As a parent of RCDC, signing this contract willingly grant full permission to ReVamp Contemporary Dance Company to use, reproduce, publish, and exhibit your child's name, image, and/or likeness in the production of still photographs and videos in connection with public service, public relations, education, and/or advertising activities. You are saying that you understand that you will not be paid for the use of your child's name, image or likeness.
K. Competition Team
As a performance company dancer, all rehearsals, workshops, dress rehearsals and events are mandatory. If an event is missed, it would have to be approved by Performance Company Coach Thomasina Jones.
Dancers are required to take at least 4 hours of dance in order to participate. Dancers must come in proper attire and arrive on time in order to remain an active member of the company.
Once warm up suits have been ordered, they will be required to wear when arriving at performance locations. Parents are to wear Revamp paraphernalia when traveling with dancers. Orders will be placed beginning in September. Costs and due dates of team wear will be available at the start of August to be purchased.
In order to remain on Performance Company, dancers must not have more than 3 unexcused rehearsals from August – December and no unexcused rehearsals from January – June. Missed rehearsals ultimately affects dancers and team, as well as, this will ensure all choreography and blocking are as accurate as possible for events.
If tuition or costume fees are not paid, dancers aren't permitted to rehearsals and will be considered unexcused.

All fundraising money must be used by the end of the season, June 2024 or it will automatically go towards our scholarship fund.
If a decision is made to leave or pause dance classes, a 30 day notice will be required. If your dancer does not complete the dance season, parents would need to pay a month's tuition to terminate the contract and there will be no refunds for recital or costume fees. Charges on the dancer's account will remain for up to 7 years. If fees are in excess of $100 or more, legal action may be taken. Parents will be responsible for all legal fees. All dance accounts will be automatically enrolled in autopay. This charge will be accessed on the 1st of each month.
