Financials
Annual registration fee is $25 per dancer and $50 per family. Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. A late fee of $15 will be added on the 11th. There will be a charge of $20 for returned checks or non-sufficient funds. Families with multiple children will receive 10% off tuition for the first sibling and 20% off tuition for additional siblings. Family cap options are available.
Unless prior arrangements have been made with RDC management, any outstanding fees on the account, may result in students being unable to participate in classes, performances, competitions, or conventions until all fees are paid. All fees are non-refundable, including events and/or competitions that may get canceled. Payments will be applied to the oldest balance first.
Tuition rates will remain the same regardless of holidays, absences, or how many weeks are in a month.
Attendance
Attending class on a regular basis is important for your child’s progress and learning experience. Excessive absences can be frustrating for the student, instructor, and classmates.
Company and Crew members are required to attend classes/rehearsals during “red zone†which is two weeks prior to a competition or performance unless the student is injured and/or feeling physically ill and is considered contagious.
Company and Crew members must be able to commit to all scheduled events and competitions.
Recreational students may make-up excused absences in other non-performing classes that are comparable to their age and skill level. Make-up classes can be requested if tuition is already paid in full for the current month. A class or classes must be made up within two weeks after an excused absence. If the student or parent decide to waive a make-up a class/es, cash credits will not be deducted from any tuition rates or dance fees.

Rhythmic Dance Complex reserves the right to provide substitute/replacement teachers and make any other changes deemed necessary based on class enrollment and other factors relative to RDC’s successful business operations.
If a student needs to withdraw from a class, you must notify the front desk and complete a withdrawal form 10 days prior to the 1st of the month. You will be responsible for all outstanding fees. Code of Conduct
Rhythmic Dance Complex intends to provide a positive and fulfilling atmosphere and has developed a code of conduct that we believe is necessary to support a culture that includes dignity and respect for every person who is a part of the RDC family. All dancers must speak and act respectfully to one another and resolve any conflicts through appropriate channels that can help facilitate a workable solution.
It is imperative that parents not compare their dancer’s progress, placement, skills, or dance experiences to any other student. Each student is evaluated based on various dance criteria that allows for RDC to maximize a student’s ability, potential, and the instructor’s vision for what creative ideas are best for their respective classes/pieces and vision of what RDC is attempting to display.
Students must come to class ready to learn, participate, and support their peers, instructors, and RDC’s goals in providing an environment where all can achieve their desired dreams in respect to their experience.
RDC is a drug/alcohol/tobacco free environment. Please refrain from using explicit language while at the studio or while attending RDC events and competitions.
Parents and students who are unwilling or unable to adhere to the code of conduct expected, will be advised of the violation and corrective action may take place, including asking the student to leave Rhythmic Dance Complex.
Arrival/Departure
All parents/guardians are responsible for making sure their child enters and leaves the studio safely.
The entrance and exit doors always remain locked. A staff member will typically be seated near them and will let you in when you arrive. If no one is there to let you in, please call the studio phone.
Our dance studio is located inside Leman Academy of Excellence. Since we are renting space from the school, we are committed to respecting the building and our surroundings. Parents may stay and sit in the seating area in the hallway.
Children ages 5 years old and younger as well as students of any age who require assistance need to be escorted by an adult into the studio and to their classroom. Students are to remain inside the studio until picked up by parent(s) or personally appointed responsible person designated by the parent(s) as filed with RDC.
RDC’s Photo/Video Release
Occasionally we will take photos and videos of classes, routines, and choreography. Photos and Videos will be used as promotional material for our studio. Please reference the Media and Photo Release agreed to in the registration documents.
Closed Classes
All classes are closed to anyone who is not enrolled or trialing a class. Parents/guests may spectate through the viewing window but may not enter the room during class.
Lost Items
We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Any lost items will be placed in our lost and found. We strongly recommend that you put your dancer’s name on all personal belongings and to keep valuable items at home.
Medical/Insurance
If a medical situation prevents your dancer from dancing for 30 or more days, you have the right to request your account to be on hold if you provide a doctor’s note stating the medical condition and how many days your dancer is unable to participate.
Rhythmic Dance Complex does NOT carry medical insurance for our students. All students are required to be covered by their family’s health insurance policy, private policy or any other policy provided by state or governmental agencies.
Rhythmic Dance Complex LLC has CPR and First-Aid Certified staff members present at all times.
Virtual Classes
In case of a state or nationwide shutdown, Rhythmic Dance Complex will transition to virtual dance classes. Please remember that not all classes will be available online and some classes may be shortened. Tuition will be appropriately pro-rated when/if this occurs. Schedule will be subject to change during this transition.
