Tuition and Fees: Tuition is due by the first class of every month and is based on an average of four weeks per month. Some months the dancers will have five lessons and some they will only have three. Tuition will not be adjusted based on the number of classes in a given month or a students attendance. Dress rehearsals, recital picture week and shows count as lessons.
Tuition is due by the 1st class of each month. This includes 4 payments in the fall and 5 in the spring. Tuition is the same regardless of the number of classes in a given month and regardless of your attendance. Tuition cannot be prorated; missed classes can be made up. Tuition is NON-REFUNDABLE.

If for any reason you decide to withdraw from a class, a Drop Class Form must be filed with the studio office prior to the 20th of the month. Student is responsible for tuition charges until the form is filed.

A late fee of $15 will be billed to past due accounts on the 10th of each month. If you need to arrange a late payment, please speak with the front desk, otherwise a late fee will be charged; no exceptions. If tuition is unpaid students will only be allowed to observe class. Returned check fee is $25

Costume fees for the June recital will be billed November 1st. A recital fee of $60 per account will be billed March 1st; and includes one recital shirt per account. Additional dancers (siblings) on an account will be billed $25 for a recital shirt only.

ALL accounts must have a credit card on file. If payment by cash or check is not received by the 10th of the month, card on file will be charged with a 3% processing charge.

If you choose to enroll in auto payment there will be a 3% processing / convenience fee.

**Purpose:**
The purpose of this policy is to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all students, teachers, and staff at Dance Branson. We are committed to fostering a positive atmosphere where everyone can participate in dance free from harassment.

**Policy Statement:**
Dance Branson has zero tolerance for any form of harassment, including but not limited to verbal, physical, or emotional abuse. This includes harassment based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.

**Definition of Harassment:**
Harassment is any unwelcome behavior that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment. It can include, but is not limited to:

- Verbal abuse or derogatory comments
- Physical intimidation or threats
- Unwanted physical contact
- Bullying or social exclusion
- Inappropriate jokes or comments
- Displaying offensive materials

**Reporting Procedures:**
1. **Immediate Reporting:** If you experience or witness harassment, report it to your instructor or the studio manager immediately.
2. **Documentation:** Document the incident, including dates, times, locations, and names of individuals involved.
3. **Confidentiality:** All reports will be handled with confidentiality to the extent possible.
4. **Follow-Up:** The studio will investigate all reports promptly and thoroughly, ensuring fairness and respect for all parties involved.

**Consequences:**
Any individual found to have engaged in harassment will face disciplinary action, which may include warnings, suspension, or expulsion from the studio, depending on the severity of the behavior.

**Support:**
We encourage all students and staff to support one another in creating a positive dance environment. If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please reach out to a teacher or the studio management for assistance.

**Review and Amendments:**
This policy will be reviewed annually and may be amended as necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of our dance community.

Recital and Costumes:¨The 2024/2025 Recitals are scheduled (tentatively) for the weekend of June 3. Please let us know if you will not be able to be a part of the recital as soon as possible. Costume fees are due November 1st and are $85 for Pre-K/Combo Classes (including tights). All other classes $85 for costumes and you will need to purchase tights for the recital (we will post tights color closer for each class and all dancers must purchase the same tights). Dancers will need a costume for each class in which they are enrolled. Costume fees are NON-REFUNDABLE - NO EXCEPTIONS.

All individuals that enter the studio should be aware that we have security cameras that live stream audio and video signal in the studio. These cameras also have the ability to record audio and video. These recordings are solely for security purposes and will not be available to the public. Surveillance videos and recordings will only be available to the studio owner, the police and to legal representative(s) in the event of a crime on or to studio property.

GENERAL
All students and their parents are expected to treat instructors, other parents and other
students with respect and courtesy at all times. Failure to comply with this rule will result in
dismissal and forfeiture of tuition.
Dance Branson is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
A lost and rarely found box is located in the dressing room; items will be donated to charity frequently.

LOBBY:
Please do not let children run and play in the lobby area. With our lobby being larger and other businesses being in our building, we will have to ask parents with children running around to wait outside. Please keep an eye on children and do not let them go into other hallways. Dance Branson is not responsible for accidents on stairs and ramp, back hallway, and Hang Out Room. We ask everyone to be responsible and respectful in creating and maintaining a safe space for ALL of our dancers, families, and guests. Please do not allow your children to run and play on the stairs and ramps, bean bags, and chairs in hangout room.
All dancers will go directly to the room their class is in. Dancers
should change into the appropriate dance attire and shoes, use the restroom, eat a snack,
etc. before class begins.
Children under 7 years should not be left in the lobby unattended.
All food and drink should remain in the lobby. No food is allowed in the Dressing Room, Dance Rooms or TV Room.

STUDIOS:
Absolutely NO food or drink allowed in the dance rooms. Only water will be allowed in a
closed container. Older students, NO cell phones will be allowed in class. No students
allowed in rooms without a teacher present. No playing in studios before classes.

PARENTS & VISITORS:
Parents please be respectful of others in the lobby. If you bring siblings or other children into lobby, it is your responsibility to keep them from running and playing around in the lobby area. Please inform your teacher if someone different will be picking up your child.
We will not let children leave with unknown adults.

PICK UP & DROP OFF:
Do not drop your student off more than 10 minutes before any class. Students must remain
inside the lobby after class and watch for parents through the doors; they are not allowed to
wait outside.

Shopping Centre:
Dance Branson is not responsible for children who visit any part of the
shopping complex. Students will not be allowed to leave the dance studio without parent permission.

RESTROOMS:
Please encourage your child to use the restroom before class, as doing so during class time is
distracting and takes away from their learning potential.

WEATHER RELATED CLASS CANCELLATION:
In case of inclement weather, Dance Branson will send out timely notices. Please check your
texts, email and/or the Dance Branson Facebook page for information regarding class cancellations.
If Branson schools cancel, all morning classes will be canceled. Evening classes will be determined by road conditions and weather reports. Each class is allowed one missed class before class will be made up.

CLASS PLACEMENT:
Class placement is at the teachers discretion. Not all students will move up a level every
year. Some students will remain in the same class level for two years or more depending on
their development. We would be happy to set up a meeting if you have questions regarding
placement. The final decision will be based on what the teacher thinks will benefit the
student the most. We ask that you trust and respect our decisions.
