- You must be over 18 years to register for an account at Rockit Performing Arts.
- All sales are final. There is no refund on term fees, holiday programs, DVD's, event tickets or merchandise after purchase.
- All students must wear the correct class uniform.
- As per our child and teacher safety policy, students must wear correct fitting uniforms. Ill fitting uniforms break our student safety policy.
- Students cannot move up levels until they have their teachers permission. This is especially important in any classes that involved acrobatics.
- For safety reasons, if you enrol your child into a class that our staff believe they are not ready for, you will be informed. Staff will then move them to the appropriate class.
- Age cut off date: Students can only move up a level if they reach the correct age before Week 4 of term 1.
- Students CANNOT commence class until fees are paid. If you are unable to pay upfront, you are welcome to contact our staff and go onto a payment plan. Please contact finance@rockitpa.com.au or admin@rockitpa.com.au to do so.
- Students are not permitted to join class until fees have been paid. Students will be stopped at the door if trying to enter without payment.
- Students are permitted to swap classes during the school term if there is room in another class. We do not recommend doing this 7 weeks prior to a concert.
- Classes are capped at a set number of students. Payment of your fees confirms you or your child's spot in the class for the full term.
- Parents are not permitted into the studio to view class unless under the following circumstances; weekday Mini class parents are welcome to watch the full class; parents of nervous students are permitted to watch the first 5 minutes of class with permission from the teacher; all families are welcome into the studio during open week. There are viewing windows in the Mount Barker foyer for all families to watch class.
- Parents must indicate at time of enrolment, whether or not they give Rockit Performing Arts permission to photograph/film their child during class, performances and events for marketing and archive purposes.
- Communication - Rockit communicates with parents in a number of ways including newsletters, foyer information posters, fliers, Facebook Events and electronic mail outs via email. It is the parent/carers responsibility to ensure they read the information presented so they do not miss rehearsals, performances, uniform orders or events. Rockit is not responsible for parents/carers who have not engaged with our multiple methods of communication.
- Make Up Sessions - we are unable to offer make up sessions for classes missed.
- From time to time Rockit staff or contractors may photograph or video students in the classroom, at events, performances or other Rockit engagements may be used for marketing purposes and promotional publications. This includes but is not limited to the Rockit Performing Arts website and social media pages, brochures, posters, fliers, newspapers and television. The images and footage remain the property of Rockit Performing Arts who retain these rights in perpetuity. If you do not wish for your child to be included in Rockit Performing Arts photographs and video footage the parent/caregiver must inform Rockit Performing Arts in writing.
- Audience members are not permitted to photograph or film any performances. This is for the safety of all students involved and music licence laws. People caught filming performances will be asked to leave.
- Families may be asked to leave the studio if they display negative behaviour toward staff or students. The Rockit Director has final say.
- Families are required to pay a costume/accessory fee for the end of year concert. Payment of this must be made in order for students to receive their costumes/accessories. There is no refund on costumes if the parent changes their mind.
- Parents/carers cannot leave students unsupervised in the foyer prior to and after class.
- Parents/carers/family are not permitted to enter the studio whilst a class is running to speak with a teacher or ask them to step out of the room.
- Rockit Performing Arts may take photographs of students during class, performances or events that are used on our website, social media pages and publications to promote the studio to the public. If you do not consent to Rockit Performing Arts using yours/your child’s photograph please notify staff via email - admin@rockitpa.com.au
