Thank you for signing up with Dare To Shine Studios. We are committed to inspiring your child's passion for the performing arts. To create an account in our parent portal you must be over 18. We also reserve the right to withdraw your enrolment into a class if the class is full, not going ahead or not the right class for your child.
I understand that all care but no responsibility will taken for my child while attending lessons at Dare To Shine Dance Studio. Supervision of my child before and after lessons is my responsibility and I will also ensure that my child conducts themselves in an appropriate and disciplined manner at all times. I understand that my child’s enrolment at Dare To Shine Dance Studio may be terminated if my child consistently behaves in an undisciplined manner or is harmful to the students and/or teacher. I understand that two weeks notice must be given in writing to withdraw from a class. Fees will be adjusted once notice is received and only charged up to the end of the two week notice period. Refunds can only be processed electronically and I understand I must provide a BSB, account name and account number to receive my refund. I understand that term fees are due by week 2 of each term and a $10 late fee might apply if paid after this date. I give permission for images of my child to be used on the Dare to Shine website, social media sites or advertising material.
• Your enrolment is for the year and there is no need to re-enrol each term. Once your enrolment is processed your invoice will be emailed out and you have 2 weeks to pay. • Invoices are based on the information provided on your child’s enrolment form. If your child’s classes differ to this information, then we reserve the right to issue an amended invoice. To assist us with this process please advise reception immediately of any changes to your child’s classes. 
 • Invoices are emailed out at the beginning of the term and are due by week 2 of the school term. Late payments will be charged a $10 late fee. Please do not wait for your invoice to pay your fees. If you haven’t received an invoice within 7 days, please advise our office, otherwise you will still be liable for the $10 late fee. 
 • Two weeks notice in writing is required if a student decides to not complete the year. A form may be filled out at our office or an email sent to officially stop your child’s enrolment. 
 • Your invoice will be amended to only reflect the lessons attended including the two-week notice period. The two-week notice period is dated from the signing of the form or email sent. If fees have already been paid in full, then an electronic refund of the difference will be organised. • Invoices are sent out via email. Please add daretoshine@live.com to your contacts or safe list to ensure you receive our invoices and newsletters. Remember we rely on parents to ensure payment is made on time so please see reception immediately if you have not received an invoice. 
 • Newsletters are sent out via email therefore make sure to provide an email address on your child’s enrolment form. Newsletters are usually sent out monthly. 
 • All uniform items are unique to our studio and can be purchased from our office. We also stock new and secondhand shoes. Purchasing from our uniform shop supports our studio and helps us cover the cost of running a professional office. • We accept cash for most things and accept direct deposit into our bank account for fees and uniform. You may also pay with your credit card through your parent portal. Secondhand items may only be paid in cash as the money is returned directly back to the parent selling the item. Costume payments are also only accepted in cash. 
 • The Enrolment fee is non-refundable for change of mind. Your enrolment secures your child's place in a nominated time slot. • We allow up to 3 make-up lessons per term. The make-up lesson is generally in the same class but in a different time slot, or another class at your child’s level. • All enrolled students are to be booked into a regular weekly class time, not jump from day to day and class to class. Choose the day(s) and time slot(s) most suitable to attend weekly. • Fortnightly attendance and/or a fortnightly fee structure is not available. • Fees cannot be discounted for travel or illness unless it is for a period of 5 consecutive weeks or more within the same term. Medical certificates and proof of travel must be provided. For all other periods of illness or travel we will organize a make-up class schedule to help cover the classes missed.
