All That Dance Studio Policies 2024
Registration
______I understand that I must pay a spring registration fee for my dancer of $20.00 per student and additional family members are $10 per child for all new dancers for the spring semester.
______I understand that this fee is required to hold your spot in class.
______I understand that this fee is non-refundable.
Tuition
______I understand that TUITION IS DUE ON OR BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS.
______I understand that tuition is charged per class per student and students who take more than one class are eligible for the second, class discount.
______I understand that tuition must be paid on time, in order for the child to participate in dance class and if tuition is not paid on time that my child will be removed from dance class.
______I understand tuition that is not paid on time will automatically be charged a $15.00 late fee by the 10th of the month.
______I understand that tuition fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Credit can be placed on a dancer’s account.
______I understand that a returned check fee is $25.00. I understand that if my check is returned, that I must pay the fees for insufficient funds. Then I can only pay with cash, cashier’s check, credit card or money order. I understand that monthly tuition must have a card on file (no exceptions).
______I understand that I must give notice of my child dropping a class by the 10th of the month or I will be responsible for paying the entire month’s tuition.
______I understand that I must keep my credit card up to date online.
______I understand that all payments are to be paid online via the parent portal. However, parents may pay with
check or cash before the 1st of each month. Auto pay is available online. We no longer accept payments using the square reader. Other payment options are available as well. Please check with the studio office.
Attendance
______I understand that attendance is recorded at the beginning of each class.
______I understand that I must plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before class is scheduled to start and wait outside until my teacher brings me into the studio.
______I understand that I should call the studio in advance of my child’s absence and that make-ups for such absences must be scheduled with my child’s teacher or the Studio Owner.
______I understand that if class is cancelled by the teacher, that the teacher will be responsible for making up the class.
Parent Observation
______I understand that parents are NOT allowed inside the studio to observe classes unless invited.
______I understand that only the parent may observe class from the viewing windows.
______I understand that only dancers and teachers are allowed inside the studio on the floors.
Dress Code
______I understand that my child must dress out appropriately for dance class.
______I understand that my child must arrive dressed and ready to dance.
______I understand that hair must be pulled back from their face; in a bun, ponytail or French braid.
______I understand that my dancer cannot wear their dance shoes outside the studio.
Dress Code:
Ballet: Pink tights, black leotard, pink, leather ballet shoes. Hair must be in a bun.
Jazz: Black jazz pants, shorts or capris, tan jazz shoes, leotard or camisole.
Tap: Black tap shoes, any solid color leotard and warm-up pants.
Hip Hop: Black hip hop sneakers and loose, comfortable clothing.
Contemporary/Lyrical: Same as jazz, foot undies required.
Acrobatics: Leotard and shorts, no shoes. Hair in a low ponytail.
_____I understand that if my child is not dressed out appropriately for class, that they may not be able to participate in dance at the teacher’s discretion.
Spring Holidays: Spring Break (March 8-17, 2024) and Good Friday (March 29, 2024).
______I understand that all other holidays/breaks are not included in tuition and therefore will not be made up.
Class Descriptions: Dancers must meet the requirements as listed online for each class.
______I understand that students must be able to perform the required skills in order to participate and will be placed only by teacher recommendations and are subject to the approval of the Studio Owner/Director.
______I understand that dancers younger than four years old, must be potty trained, willing to go into the studio without their parent and that I will need to stay nearby, in the parking lot in case of bathroom emergency.
Recital:
______I understand that performing in the recital is optional. Dancers who are not performing in the spring show(s), will only take 14 weeks of dance classes, as we give out costumes on the 15th week of the semester.
______I understand that if I do choose for my child to participate in the show(s), that there are extra costs for costuming, rehearsals, tickets and pictures.
______I understand that all fees must be paid in full and on time to perform in the show(s).
______I understand that my child must attend all mandatory rehearsals for the recital as scheduled in person in order to perform in the show.
______I understand that there are NO refunds for costumes, recital, tuition fees and any extra fees for the recital.
Misc.:
______I understand that I must notify the studio if someone else is picking my child up after class.
______I understand that teachers, who must wait for my child to be picked up 15 minutes or more after class, will be charge a $10/per minute sitting fee.
______I understand that my child should not show up for dance class until 15 minutes prior to the class start time.
______I understand that in case of an emergency, I should contact the studio office as soon as possible.
______I understand that my child may not leave the studio with another dancer, another parent or person unless the studio has prior, written permission from the parent of the dancer.
New Snow Day Policy
_______I understand the weather in Flagstaff changes rapidly. A mass text message will go out on such occasion. Please keep your cell phone and email address updated via the parent portal.
______I understand that the studio will not decide to cancel classes until 1 pm on a school declared, snow day. ______I understand that the studio phone, studio website and studio social media pages will have the most current class cancellations.
______I understand that any snow days or other class cancellations will be made up by the studio later in the semester. Parents will be notified by text and email in case of this event.
Other important information
______I understand that Preschool and kinder age dancers must have a parent waiting either in their car or in the
lobby during class.
______Dancers who are sick, contagious, running a fever or have been exposed to the COVID virus must take a makeup class at another time. Please check with the studio office to schedule a makeup class.
We at All That Dance understand our obligation to make sure that all of our students and their parents are aware of the risks and hazards involved in the sport of dance. By signing this waiver, you are hereby releasing All That Dance and all of its employees from all claims on account of any injury which may be sustained by your child while attending any dance class or event associated with All That Dance. In signing this waiver, you also acknowledge your responsibility in paying registration, tuition, costume, and or recital fees on time. You also affirm that you carry proper medical, health and hospitalization insurance which you consider adequate protection for your child and All That Dance.
I HEARBY WAIVE, RELEASE AND DISCHARGE ALL THAT DANCE, INC. and all divisions thereof any all liability and responsibility for injuries, sickness, pandemics, accidents, natural disasters and/or acts of God incurred during participation in and or instruction of dance classes, camps, intensives, private instruction, choreography or any activity I may participate in.____________________________________________________(Parent Signature)
