Dance Force Terms & Conditions of Enrolment
1. New students have the option to ‘trial’ one (1) class prior to enrolling. Fees payable shall be subject to a 14 day period of account credit.
2. Term fees are less than the single class cost equivalent to allow for cancellation/non attendance at classes due to public holidays, school camps, student illness etc.
3. If a student fails to attend a lesson Dance Force will not provide an additional class to cover the missed lesson. A reduction in fees paid in respect of this class will not be provided.
4. Students are required to give two (2) weeks notice before leaving Dance Force.
5. Dance Force will not offer tuition to any student whose fees are more than one term in arrears. Dance Force reserve the right to apply a late payment charge to any fee amounts that remain outstanding after the due date. The person responsible for the tuition fee payment will be held liable for the payment of any additional costs incurred to recover any unpaid fees (to include any costs incurred by referral of the matter to external debt collection agencies)
6. If enrolment numbers in any class fall below a level that Dance Force considers viable, Dance Force reserves the right to cancel, shorten or transfer the class. Fees paid for the class will be credited pro rata.
7. Dance Force reserves the right to change fees or class timetables without prior notice. However Dance Force will endeavor to inform students/parents/guardians of any changes as soon as possible.
8. Students are entered for exams entirely at Dance Force’s discretion. Students who are entered for exams and miss three (3) lessons in a row or do not attend the exam vacation school will not be allowed to participate in the exam. The exam entry fee and associated costs are not refundable.
9. Dance Force reserve the right to suspend or terminate the enrolment of any student whose general behavior or standard of class dress/grooming (refer to Uniform Requirements) does not meet standards deemed acceptable by Dance Force. The requirement of acceptable behavior applies to parents/guardians that are accompanying students to Dance Force.
10. It is a condition of enrolment that students do not involve themselves with dance productions, dance performances, eisteddfods, other dance studios or vacation schools without the prior permission of Dance Force.
11. Students will refrain from commenting about Dance Force, teachers and/or other students on social media networks (such as facebook, twitter, instagram etc) or internet chat room sites. In addition, unless prior written is provided by Dance Force, students shall refrain from posting blogs and/or having any involvement in any other publication (electronic or otherwise) which refers to Dance Force and/or teachers and/or other students of Dance Force.
12. Students, or if the student is under 18 years of age, the parents/guardians of such student should immediate advise Dance Force in writing in the event that a student develops any condition that may affect their participation in class. In addition, any allergies or prescribed medication (together with instructions for use) should be provided to Dance Force in writing on student enrolment, or immediately after the onset of any allergy/provision of prescription.
13. For Adults – Please advise Dance Force of any condition that may affect your participation in the class including recovery from surgery, pregnancy or any physical weakness. It is expected that you will work at your own pace and advise the Dance Force teacher of any discomfort. If you have any doubts or concerns regarding your participation in Dance Force classes, please consult your doctor. As an adult, you are completely responsible for your participation in Dance Force classes and Dance Force will not be held responsible for any injury and/or illness arising from your participation in Dance Force classes, unless such injury and/or illness is caused by the gross negligence of Dance Force teaching staff.
14. Dance Force does not accept responsibility for items lost or stolen from Dance Force premises, although anything found on Dance Force premises will be held as ‘lost property’ for collection.
15. At times, students may be photographed or filmed by Dance Force or external media companies for promotion of Dance Force and related productions. Students, or if the student is under 18 years of age, the parents of such student who object to this should formally advise Dance Force in writing at the time of enrolment
16. Students, or if the student is under 18 years of age, the parents/guardians of such student must ensure that Dance Force hold up to date and complete emergency contact details for students of Dance Force classes. Any changes should be notified to Dance Force immediately.
17. An annual registration fee of $25 must accompany the registration
18. If Dance Force fees are being paid by a third party, please ensure the contact details of this party are provided to Dance Force. In addition, please ensure that the third party provides their signature and printed name beside the space allocated for Parent/Guardian signature to demonstrate their acceptance of fee payment. If this is not done the student (if over 18 years of age) or the parent/guardian of the student shall be deemed responsible for fee payment.
