Tuition is due by the 5th of each month and is non-refundable. Absence from class does not relieve one of responsibility to pay tuition on time. You have an option of automatic bill pay!
Tuition may be paid through the office or mail. Please make checks payable to ACCD.
Mailed payments must be sent to:
ACCD
677 Oak Grove Road
Chesapeake, VA 23320
Tuition is based on a yearly fee and broken up into ten (10) equal payments. Since registration for a class obligates the space in the class for an entire year, tuition is due even if the student is absent from class. Your signature below indicates your understanding of above tuition policies.
If Chesapeake Public Schools close due to inclement weather, the studio will most likely close as well. However, please call the studio at 757-436-1345 after 2:00 pm to verify any closing. We avoid closing, if possible. Although we try, there is no guarantee classes can be made-up.
All dancers are presented in the recital. I do understand there is a recital fee of $120.00. This fee will include 7 tickets and a recital t-shirt. If you have more than one dancer, additional t-shirts will need to be purchased. We order all costumes necessary for the show. There is a deposit due on all costumes on January 12, 2024. Deposits are $35.00 per costume.
Dancers wishing to withdraw from a class must give two (2) weeks written notice to the instructor. Tuition will be charged until such notice is received by the instructor. All monies
owed must be paid by the night of dress rehearsal for the dancer to perform in the recital.
Classes that are missed can be made up within two (2) weeks, otherwise they will be forfeited.
Due to the importance of warm-ups and the disruptive nature of late arrivals, dancers who are more than ten (10) minutes late will not be admitted.
Dress code policy will be strictly enforced.
Jewelry is not permitted in any class. Hair flying in faces is not only distracting, but also dangerous. Hair must be pulled away from the face and secured in a bun. Just a ponytail holder does not hold hair securely enough. Ponytails are permitted in jazz, tap, and modern classes.
*** Dancers should go to the bathroom BEFORE class to minimize disruptions.
**** Your child should arrive NO MORE than five (5) minutes before their scheduled class time and be picked up ON TIME. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CHILDREN WHO ARRIVE EARLY OR ARE LEFT LATE.

This wavier remains in effect until the State of Virginia lifts all Covid-19 related mandates.
I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the above listed Waivers and Liabilities:
