By agreeing to Incite Dance Term's & Conditions, you are agreeing to all below:
I agree for me or my child to attend Incite Dance and to undertake all activities and/or participate in dance and acrobatics classes. In case of emergencies, I authorise the staff, where it is impracticable to communicate with me, to arrange for my child to receive medical treatment as may be deemed necessary. I also undertake to pay or reimburse costs which may be incurred for medical attention, ambulance transport and medication while my child is attending classes at Incite Dance.I understand that although Incite Dance and its service providers attempt to minimise any risk of personal injury with practical boundaries, accidents do happen and all physical activities carry the risk of personal injury. I acknowledge that there is an inherent risk of personal injury in physical activities that will be undertaken at the studio as part of the classes and i accept that risk.
TERM FEES
By enrolling with Incite Dance thereby agree to he following fee agreement:
Our term fees are a set rate that remains the same, regardless of the amount of weeks within the term, if a student has enrolled mid to late term, or if a student is absent due to holidays, school camps, sickness etc.
Fees must be paid before the end of week 1 in EACH term, any fees owed after this date will incur a $20 late fee.
Payments are made by term
- All students are expected to carry out a full term. No refund will be given to any student who has a change in mind.
-Any changes made to your invoice at the request of the parent/care giver, will incur a admin fee.LATE FEE
Any fees owed after the set due date will incur a $20 late fee.
REFUNDS
Once enrolled, Incite Dance does not give refunds due to change of mind, you can have a credit towards another class or term.
ADMIN FEES
Any changes made to your invoice at your own request will incur an admin fee.
CREDITS
Will only be given due to long term injury or illness and only if Incite Dance’s director has been contacted asap and a doctor’s certificate is presented.
Class changes, holidays, school camps etc. DO NOT APPLY.
SIBLING DISCOUNT
If you have 2 or more children each enrolled in two or more classes, a 10% discount will be given to the child with the least amount of classes.
-This discount only applies to class fees and does not apply to costume deposits, eisteddfod fees or enrolment fees.
CONCERT COSTUME DEPOSIT
A costume deposit is to be paid EACH TERM/CLASS.
This covers all handling, shipping, materials and ownership after full payment is made.
-Our end of year concert is compulsory for ALL students.
UNLIMITED CLASSES
Students who have enrolled for unlimited classes, can choose up to 5 or more classes in any style of dance within their age/skill level or below.
This does not include Eisteddfod groups or private lessons.
ACTIVE & CREATIVE KIDS VOUCHERS
• Incite Dance is both an Active Kids and Creative Kids provider with the NSW Government. As such parents are can redeem their Creative kids vouchers and both their Active Kids vouchers with us.
• Only one Active Kids voucher can be redeemed per term for each student.
• It is a requirement that students reside in NSW to redeem vouchers. As such it is the responsibility of parents to keep all student information, including the student’s address, up to date on the parent portal.
EXITING CONDITIONS
Exiting conditions apply to all students that wish to discontinue training with Incite Dance.
When enrolling with Incite Dance, all students are expected complete a full year.
Exiting conditions are:
There will be NO REFUNDS on term or costume fees.
No performance pieces taught at Incite Dance are to be performed by the exiting student without the expressed permission of the director of Incite Dance.
COVID RESTRICTIONS
If Incite Dance needs to cancel any class/classes due to COVID restrictions and following QLD Government rules and restrictions, NO refunds will be given.
A credit or class reschedule - either by zoom online or in house depending on restrictions, will be provided to those who have paid their class tuition prior to class cancellation.
A credit will only be given if Incite Dance must cancel any class/classes due to COVID restrictions and following QLD government rules and restrictions - No credit will be given to anyone who exits by their own choice or is in self isolation.
When enrolling with Incite Dance and signing a waiver upon enrolment, you are therefor agreeing to all of the above.
RISK AGREEMENT
Dance is a physical activity and the teacher or teaching assistant may have to assist you or your child's understanding of an action, posture or position by physical contact e.g. Holding hands in a circle; lifting, correcting posture. By enrolling, you consent to employees, sub-contracted teachers and teaching assistants having contact with your child in this regard. Should your child hurt his/herself you consent to employees, sub-contractors and teaching assistants of Incite Dance to attend to your child whilst Incite Dance wait for the nominated guardian to take over or until medical assistance arrives. Your child's enrolment into a Incite Dance class is voluntary and participation in the class and the activities involve possible risks of injury. You assume these risks for you or your child(ren).
Incite Dance teachers are available to supervise students participating in class during class time ONLY.
We DO NOT supervise or accept responsibility for students who remain at the studio between classes.
Parents/guardians should plan for adequate supervision during these times.
Our Teachers will provide a safe and happy environment for dance activities and will strive to do so at all times.
Incite Dance and our teachers will not be held responsible for any accident or injury that a student may incur during or in-between class times.
AUTHORITY TO RELEASE
By agreeing to Incite Dance’s Terms and Conditions, you as the students’ parent/guardian give permission for Incite Dance to display, print, copy and publish in Incite Dance’s broachers, flyers, newsletters, websites, social media, videos and in any other promotional material, photos or video footage of your child taken during classes, dance activities and/or performances.
STUDIO RULES & CODE OF CONDUCT
By enrolling with Incite Dance you thereby agree to he following code of conduct agreement:
1. We have a strict no bullying policy. Negative interaction between parents and dancers will not be tolerated.
2. Promote Incite Dance and its dancers in a positive way. Incite Dance is a team, which includes, staff, students and parents. We are all supportive of one another and pride ourselves on the community we have grown within our dance studio.
2. Dancers and parents/guardians are expected to behave in an appropriate manner at all times. It is up to Incite Dance staff discretion to ban any parent/guardian acting in an inappropriate manner. Negative comments and loud and rowdy behaviour at competitions and the studio will not be tolerated.
By enrolling with Incite Dance you thereby agree to he following studio rules:
1. Incite Dance dancers are to treat their peers and staff with respect at all times.
2.Students must be groomed appropriately at all times.
3.Eating is only allowed outside of class.
4.All students must wear the appropriate Incite Dance uniform .
5.No parents are permitted in class whilst class is on.
