Physical, Mental, Emotional or Cyber bullying by Parents, Staff or Students will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from the studio. - Imagine Dance co takes no responsibility for any stolen or misplaced property on the studio premises and we encourage families to avoid bringing valuable items into the studio where possible. - Families who do not comply with their fee or costume payment obligations will be charged a late fee and may be excluded from performances. External debt collection may occur when fees remain overdue and this will be at the expense of the client. Costume expenses are the responsibility of the parent and costumes will not be issued to the students with unpaid dance or costume fees. - No classes or teachers are to be disturbed unless it is an emergency, this includes all private lessons. Parents are to wait in the waiting area or cars until classes have been dismissed. We do encourage dropping the kids off & leaving to help ease congestion between classes. - We are unable to take responsibility for students before or after their scheduled classes and it is the responsibility of the parent/caregiver to ensure their child is picked up and dropped off in a timely manner. In the case of an emergency or unavoidable delay, please contact the studio immediately to inform us of the situation so we can keep your child calm and safe until they can be collected. - No food or drink allowed in the studio other than water.
As we all know the COVID-19 virus is beyond our control. If the government puts us on lockdown at any stage of the studio being open, we will take our classes straight to zoom. We will follow the normal timetable; we think it is extremely important to maintain a “normal†routine. Covid-19 has impacted on the children hard. We want to try minimise the impact as much as possible by keeping the same routine. All staff at IDC will be Covid-19 trained. We will clean the premises between classes & an extensive clean will happen every night after classes are complete.
Anyone entering the building will require to sanitise their hands with the sanitiser provided & all children will need to sanitise before entering the studio. Following guidelines of the government, no parents will be allowed in the studio.
Enrolment Terms & Conditions - Parents will not be allowed to view classes, as it is a distraction to students & teachers. We also want our concert to be a surprise for you all! - Please ensure your child is aware they are NOT to leave the building without an adult. - Please notify staff of any changes to contact details. - Negativity, gossip, inappropriate behaviour or bullying aimed at staff members or fellow students will not be tolerated from anyone. If you are found to be doing any of the above you will be asked to leave Imagine Dance Co immediate effective. - Students will be asked to sit down in class for a small period of time if they are behaving in an unsafe or disrespectful manner. They may return to the class activities once the behaviour is appropriate again and an apology has been given.
SAFETY Imagine Dance Co is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for employees, contractors, dancers and visitors. We request all parents to observe their child’s safety and communicate any information that would improve safety. The movement of children from parental supervision to IDC staff supervision is the most vulnerable and requires the utmost care by all parties. No child should be left without the parent being satisfied that their child is in class and under the care of IDC staff nor should any child be encouraged to leave care without supervision. Imagine dance co asks that you ensure the following responsibilities: Dancers are on time for class and brought into the building by a parent or guardian. Please contact IDC should your child not be attending class. Dancers are picked up on time by a parent or guardian at the end of their class/es by a parent or guardian. When dancers leave the building, they are out of our care, no student should wait or be asked to wait outside the building to be collected. Parents are responsible for maintaining up to date contact details. As Imagine dance co is not a licensed child-minding facility, we are unable to ‘mind’ other children not attending or trialling our classes. IDC has a first aid kit on site however, in the event of a medical emergency, a dancer’s parent/s or guardian will be contacted for the child to be picked up. In the event of a serious emergency an ambulance will be called. We ask that you inform IDC staff of any medical or other conditions of the dancer/s that you feel are important for IDC staff to be aware of.
