SEASON DATES
Our 2024-2025 season runs for 10 months. August 5, 2024 - May 23, 2025.

ABSENCES
There will be NO REFUNDS or CREDITS for missed classes, vacations, holidays or illness. If a student is absent for more than three (3) classes during the months of March-May, they may not participate in these performances. (Exceptions will be made for illness.)

HOLIDAYS - STUDIO CLOSED DATES
Exceleration Studios is closed for the following holidays for the 2024-2025 Season:

Aug. 30 - Sept. 2
Oct. 31
Nov. 27 - Dec 1
Dec. 21 - Jan. 5
Mar. 17 - 22
May 23 - 26

We reserve the right to close for emergencies.

SUMMER
Summer 2025 Dates June 16-27. Please check individual class, workshop and/or intensives for exact meeting dates.

CANCELLATION
If at least 5 children are not enrolled in a class, the class may be canceled per the discretion of Exceleration Studios.

WITHDRAWAL
If a student wishes to withdraw from any class, Exceleration Studios must be notified in writing (using our Google Form Withdrawal Request Form) 2 weeks in advance of leaving. Tuition must be paid during the 2 week notification period.

When one withdraws from classes, they are unenrolling and their account becomes inactive. If one decides to return a month later, an additional registration fee is incurred to re-register.

Exceleration Studios uses Dance Studio-Pro to process Registration and Payment.
Exceleration Studios requires enrollment in Auto-Pay.
Auto-Pay is run on the 1st of the month.
Changes to enrolled Auto-Pay payment method can be made in Dance Studio-Pro.

CAMERA AND RECORDING DEVICES

To ensure the safety of our students, families and staff, Exceleration Studios utilizes cameras in the following areas:
Lobby, Studio C, Studio D. The Parking area also has security cameras provided by the building. The cameras allow us to check on classes, the Lobby and to make sure there are no safety concerns

By agreeing to this waiver, you understand that any persons entering the areas listed above may be recorded or monitored on camera.

COMMUNICATION WITH EXCELERATION STUDIOS

Exceleration uses multiple platforms for communication; including email, text, third-party applications, third-party software and phone.

Official communication will be sent via email to the email listed on your account.

Our email address is info@excelerationstudios.com please add that email to contacts so you do not miss any communication from us.

ALL OFFICIAL communication, including absences, illness or injury should be sent via email to that address.

Exceleration Studios utilizes Dance Studio Pro and emails may come from no-reply@dancestudio-pro.com - please add that email to contacts so you do not miss any communication from us.

Exceleration Studios may also text you using a third-party software called Studio Hub.

Members of Teams must also utilize the third-party applications BAND and or GROUPME for communication.

These apps will require download to mobile devices.

By agreeing to this waiver, you agree that we may contact you by any of the above listed forms of communication and that you are responsible for monitoring all modes of communication with the studio.

COVID-19 & CONTAGIOUS DISEASES

By clicking the box below, I acknowledge that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other contagious diseases/viruses exists in any public place where people are present. By attending and participating in classes on the premises at Exceleration Studios, Inc. or any venue where we participate as representatives of Exceleration Studios, Inc., my dependent(s) and/or I voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and other contagious diseases/viruses and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I acknowledge and understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 and other contagious diseases/viruses may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself, my dependent(s) and others, including, but not limited to, employees, volunteers, studio participants and their families.

I agree not to hold Exceleration Studios, Inc., its employees, agents, contractors, sub-contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury. I acknowledge that I have carefully read this Covid-19 and Other Contagious Diseases/Viruses Release Waiver and fully understand that it is a release of liability. I am waiving any right that I may have to bring legal action to assert a claim against Exceleration Studios, Inc. for negligence.

DISASTER

By clicking the box below, I acknowledge that in the event of a disaster, natural or man-made, Exceleration Studios, Inc. may have to close their doors. If this were to happen, all classes will immediately be available via Zoom and will continue on Zoom until Exceleration Studios, Inc. is allowed to reopen. Under such circumstances, Exceleration Studios, Inc. is not able to give any refunds as online classes will still be offered.

I acknowledge that I have carefully read this Disaster Release Waiver and fully understand it is a release of liability. I am waiving any right that I may have to bring legal action to assert a claim against Exceleration Studios, Inc. for negligence.

HAIR
ALL BALLET/POINTE CLASSES: Must have a tight & secure bun. If hair is too short to be in a bun, it must be pulled or pinned back - away from face. Any loose hair should be pinned or sprayed back.

ALL OTHER CLASSES: Must be securely pulled back for every class. If hair is too short to be in a ponytail, pull or pin back - away from face. Any loose hair should be pinned or sprayed back.

ETIQUETTE

Students must arrive at least 5-10 minutes before class.

Teachers reserve the right to prevent a student from participating if they are late for class.

Please be courteous to the other students and have your child to class on time.

If more than 15 minutes late (without notice) your child will not be allowed to participate in class and no make-ups will be allowed.

No chewing gum, food or drinks (other than water) are allowed in either the studio, lobby, or bathrooms.

This also pertains to siblings and adults not taking classes. If you must eat, please do so outside.

Please do not send younger children to class with toys or wearing costumes. This is unfair to other students who abide by the dress code.

All young children must be supervised by a responsible adult.

Exceleration Studios, Inc. is not responsible for any injuries or for children left unsupervised before or after class.

In order for instructors to keep your child’s attention in class, please do not let your presence distract the dancers (including your own child).

Parents of young children should not hang out at the studio windows as this is very distracting to the students and teacher in the class. It encourages the children to look to the parents and not focus on the teacher. It can also make the more anxious child upset if their parent is not within sight.

Please make sure your child has gone to the bathroom before class.

We are approachable & sensitive to any questions or concerns that may arise. We are always available to speak with parents or students.
Please direct all questions or concerns to our administrative staff at the desk. Do not approach the teachers directly about problems or concerns.

MEDICAL RELEASE

By clicking the box below, I acknowledge that I give permission for any designated Exceleration Studios, Inc. staff member to call 911 in the event of an emergency involving my dependent(s) and/or myself.

In case 911 is called, if the parent/guardian cannot be contacted, I hereby give consent for emergency medical care prescribed by a duly licensed Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Dentistry. This care may be given under whatever conditions are necessary to preserve the life, limb or well-being of my dependent(s) and/or myself. I accept full responsibility for all costs of said medical care and any emergency treatments. Exceleration Studios, Inc. will not be responsible for the cost of any medical care or emergency treatments. I hereby waive all claims whatsoever in connection with such medical treatments. I acknowledge that I have carefully read this Medical Release Waiver and fully understand that it is a release of liability. I am waiving any right that I may have to bring legal action to assert a claim against Exceleration Studios, Inc. for negligence.

Pets/Live Animals:
For the safety of our Students and Staff:

We do not allow any pets or live animals inside Exceleration Studios (Lobby, Studios or Restrooms).

Performances
Exceleration Studios, Inc. has multiple professional opportunities that allow students to showcase their hard work.
Our biggest show is our Annual Recital at the end of our season.
Performance Agreements will go out for each performance and a performance fee will be collected.
Performance fees allow us to rent the venue for the performance and include a digital download of each performance with access to unlimited photos of the performance. All students will be measured by one of our staff members and costumes will be ordered.

Costumes
Costume Fees are due prior to ordering costumes.
Costume payments do not include shoes.
There are NO refunds.

Tickets to Performances
Tickets to these Performances are not included.

Absences

Rehearsals
All performance participants must attend any dress/tech rehearsals.

Registration
Once registered, student class placement is considered reserved for the season (providing tuition is paid on time) and it is expected to be a financial commitment for the season.
We fully understand that students enroll in other activities. However, we expect a level of commitment from each student in order for them to progress and develop within their class. If classes are missed due to a student taking on other commitments, then their place in dance class may not be guaranteed. This is very important during recital preparation.
Registration and payment for tuition will be done online via Dance Studio-Pro.

Tuition
Tuition is posted on the 25th of each month and is due by the 1st of the following month. Auto-Pay is run-on the 1st of the month. A $25 late fee will be charged to accounts on the 5th, where tuition is not paid in full.
Students may be asked to sit out of a class if tuition is not received by the 10th of the month.
Preferred method of payment is via credit or debit card via Dance Studio-Pro. If you pay by check, there will be a $25 charge for any returned checks. After 2 returned checks, you will be required to pay all monies with a credit or debit card via Dance Studio-Pro.
Tuition will be the same whether it is a three, four or five week month. (Tuition is based on the number of weeks in a season August-May.)
Once registered, student class placement is considered reserved for the season (providing tuition is paid on time) and it is expected to be a financial commitment for the season.

Account Credits
Any account credits will expire after 1 year.

Rules for Students
No talking while the teacher is talking.
No sitting down in class unless the teacher says so.
Keep your hands to yourself.
Please do not touch the mirrors? or the windows.
No hanging on the barres.
Keep tap shoes quiet when the teacher is talking.
No street shoes on the dance floor.
Dance shoes are not to be worn outside so make sure you have other shoes to come and go with.
Ask the teacher before using the bathroom.
Electronic devices are to be put away while in class (including smart watches).
No food or drinks in the studios or lobby (water ok).
No chewing gum in the studios or lobby.
No running in the studios, halls, or lobby.
No jumping on/off furniture in the halls or lobby.
You must stay in Exceleration Studios until your parent/guardian comes to pick you up.
Follow the dress code listed for each class.

Safety
If dropping off your child, please make sure they enter Exceleration Studios.
For the safety of your child and courtesy of the teacher and other classes, please be sure to pick up your child promptly.
Please do not allow any children to run around or play in the hallway, lobby, outside walkway, or parking lot.
No touching or banging on the studio windows.
No climbing is allowed on outside railing.
If you are more than 10 minutes late picking up your child after class, you will be charged $1/per minute. This charge will be applied to your next month’s tuition.

I agree to release and discharge you (and your affiliates, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns) from any and all claims or cause of action (known or unknown) arising out of your negligence. I acknowledge that I have carefully read this Waiver and Release and fully understand that it is a release of liability. I am waiving any right that I may have to bring legal action to assert a claim against Exceleration Studios, Inc. for negligence.
