Student Waiver & Release of Liability
Please read all the way through as some of our Studio Policies have changed.
Registration
*Register online at www.stepstograce.com
**Enroll Early! - classes fill fast & class sizes are limited. Waiting lists will be active, and if there is enough need, another class will be added to accommodate more students
**Classes that do not have a minimum of FOUR students may be canceled. Refunds will be given if the class can not be filled.
Tuition Fees & Payments
*There is a registration fee associated with our Fall/Spring and Summer sessions, and the fee varies by season. Fall/Spring registration fees will include costume fees for one class. All other costume fees will be due October 1st of the fall session. Class Tuition rates are set for the full Fall/Spring season, not the number of classes in a month. Registration fees are due upon online enrollment. Camp and Parents' Night Out fees are due at the time of enrollment. A credit card or a checking account must be placed on file upon registering and to reserve your space in a class, and auto-payments are the ONLY form of payment accepted at Steps to Grace. Monthly tuition will be drafted on the 1st of the month through auto withdrawal by the card or checking account placed on file.
NSF Payments
*NSF on paper checks, auto-debit, or auto charge payments will incur a $50 NSF fee which will be paid at the front desk along with the tuition.
Withdrawal From Classes
*30 days notice from the first of the month is required to discontinue any payments. To remove yourself or your student from STG, a parent must inform the studio 30 days before their next scheduled auto payment. If full studio withdrawal is due to illness or injury, exceptions may be made.
Refunds/Credits on Account
* Refunds are only issued when STG cancels a class due to low enrollment. Refunds are NOT issued when students miss their scheduled classes due to illness or schedule conflicts. Students are allowed to make up TWO missed classes. All other missed classes will not be made up. In the event STG closes for a weather emergency or building maintenance issue, STG will offer make up sessions for those missed classes.
Class Transfer/Change
*Changing classes is allowed within 3 weeks of registration without a fee. After the initial registration period (3 weeks after registering) there is a $10.00 charge for changes, and accounts will be adjusted to reflect any price changes in the classes.
Communications
*At STG we go to great lengths to keep you informed and up to date. Please put a valid email address on file to make sure you are receiving our STG emails with important information. You can also find us on Facebook under Steps to Grace Dance Academy, and on Instagram @stepstogracedance.
Inclement Weather Policy
*In the event of inclement weather, a message will be left on our STG Facebook and Instagram pages, and all students impacted will receive an email as well. We try to make a decision at least 2 hours prior to class time. There are no refunds given for classes canceled due to weather, but STG will make every effort to offer make-up classes.
COVID-19
*1- All classes will be in person at this time. If our situation changes, there may be a period of virtual instruction via zoom as needed. If this happens, we will strive to continue providing value in each class, and keep your child dancing. Refunds will not be given for the current month if we are forced to close and move to zoom. After the current month, decisions will be made by management regarding the next month’s tuition. In extreme cases where a student is not able to participate via zoom, we may offer a credit towards future tuition. We thank you in advance for your flexibility during this unprecedented time.
*2-Students and staff will be asked to remain home if they are running a fever, or show any signs of illness.
*3-All facilities are regularly cleaned and sanitized.
*4-Hand Sanitizer is available throughout the studio.
*5-We are not requiring students, parents or staff members to wear masks at this time. The choice to do so will be completely up to them and their families. We respect the choices made by each of them. We will not be requiring our staff members to wear masks, and parents are not allowed to require our staff to wear them at any time. Any parent that is uncomfortable with their child taking classes from a staff member that is not wearing a mask is asked to speak with the studio owner right away. Other arrangements will be made to accommodate their child. We want everyone to feel safe, including our staff.
*6-Every activity comes with a certain element of risk when it comes to airborne and surface-spread illnesses. You are acknowledging this risk when signing yourself or your child(ren) up to attend classes at Steps to Grace, and do not hold Steps to Grace responsible for your health or the health of your child(ren). We will continue to maintain a clean and sanitary environment at all times, but we are unable to completely eliminate the risk of illness in our facility.
Injury while in our facility
*As with any sport, dance has a certain level of risk for injury. You are acknowledging this risk when signing yourself or your child(ren) up to attend classes at Steps to Grace, and do not hold Steps to Grace responsible for your health or the health of your child(ren). We will continue to maintain a clean and safe environment with highly trained staff members at all times, but we are unable to completely eliminate the risk of injury in our facility.
