Registration- A non-refundable fee of $25 is required to register yearly at the time of registration.
Payment of Fees- Payment must be made by the 7th of each month. Failure to do so will result in a $10 late fee.
Costume Fees- Each costume will cost $90. A deposit of $20 per costume/month is recommended for the months of Aug-Oct and then the balance of $30 per costume by November 30th. Anyone joining late should catch up on these deposits. If you join in the months of December or January you must pay for the costumes in full within two weeks. If you withdraw from a class by November 30th any costume deposits you paid will be credited to your account. If you withdraw from the studio completely costume deposits will be returned within a month. Anyone withdrawing after November 30th will be responsible for full costume charge and receive it when it arrives. Costumes not paid for by winter break in December will have a $20 late fee added to each costume.
Withdrawals and Refunds- There is a two month minimum for all classes. One month notice from the 1st of the month is required to discontinue any classes. Withdrawal must be done in person and will not be accepted over the phone or through email. Withdrawal must be done at the office and not with the teacher. Withdrawal must occur within the first 7 days of the month. You are responsible for payment for 30 days after the withdrawal. No withdrawals will be accepted after April 1st. To withdraw from a class a parent or adult student must; inform school administration in person. This must take place on the 1st-7th of each month Oct-Mar.
Extreme Dance Arts reserves the right to terminate lessons to any students without notice. If this occurs a refund for unused lessons will be returned. No refunds are given for missed classes for any reason.
Extreme Weather or Unexpected Interruption of Classes- If the school must cancel classes due to weather or events beyond our control, such as power outages, no refunds for sessions missed will be given. However if a specific class is cancelled more than 2 times makeup lessons will be scheduled.
Substitutions- Extreme Dance Arts reserves the right to schedule a substitute teacher if the regularly scheduled teacher is unable to teach or removed.
Dress Code- Required dancewear and dance shoes must be worn to each class. Repeated failure to do so could result in the student having to sit out. Students are not permitted to wear jeans or outdoor shoes to any classes. For safety reasons dancers should not wear jewelry (earrings are fine), and their hair must be pulled up and out of the face.
Attendance- A minimum attendance level will be required. If a student misses a class for 3 consecutive weeks without prior notice, we reserve the right to terminate lessons. Students missing more than 5 lessons Feb-Jun may not be allowed to participate in the end of the year performance. Decision will be left up to the teachers and directors. No refund will be given for costumes or missed classes.
Parent/Guardian Responsibility to be Aware of Dates and Events- It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to be aware of all school activities, such as performance dates, closings, extra classes, etc. We will send emails, give newsletters, or post on social media. Make sure you check on a regular basis. It is your responsibility to update your account with any address, email, or phone number changes.
Care of Students- The school is not responsible for providing before or after class care for the students. Students should not be left at the school for excessive amounts of time before or after the class time. Students should not arrive more than 10 mins before their class begins. Extreme Dance Arts is only responsible for students while in their class. You must wait with them until their class begins and arrive for pick up before their class ends.
Injuries- Parents, Legal Guardians, and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on school property, resulting from normal dance/tumbling activity. or any other activity conducted before, during, or after class time.
Photo/Video Release- Extreme Dance Arts is hereby granted permission to take photographs or videos of the students to use on social media, brochures, websites, posters, advertisements, and other promotional material. Permission is also hereby granted for the school to copyright such material in its name.
