At DEI, we are still following social distancing + cleaning protocol. As
any other public place, we cannot guarantee that your child will not be exposed whether at DEI or elsewhere or if exposed, that your child will not contract the disease.

By acknowledging below, you agree to waive any claims of liability against DEI and to hold DEI harmless if your child contracts COVID-19 despite our best efforts to prevent it.

Additionally, I agree to notify DEI if my child or any member of our household contracts COVID-19 or has come come into contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. This action will help ensure the utmost safety of our dancers + staff.

We are adhering to the CDC Guidelines as the health and wellbeing of our students. their families and our staff are our top priority. We will continue to monitor and implement the local, state and federal recommendations as they're announced.

Prevention Steps in the studio include;

If you're experiencing any of the following symptoms (e.g. fever, chills, coughing, sneezing, shortness of breath) we ask that you stay home, rest and seek medical assistance. Please don't send your child to the studio sick or if a family member is sick.

Alert us if your child does have COVID-19 or has been exposed and has been to the studio within the last 14 days.

Masks are optional at this time. We will follow CDC Guidelines and state mandates if things should change.

Temp Checks- are not required at this time. We will follow CDC Guidelines and state mandates if things should change. If a child has a temp of 99.5 or higher we ask that you keep them home.

Sanitation Stations- Touchless Hand sanitizers are provided and we kindly ask all students, parents, teachers and staff to use as often as possible.

Social Distancing- We understand this can be difficult in a dance activity however we encourage students to avoid physical contact when possible.

Lobby- Parents we kindly ask that you wait either outside or in your vehicle. Please be ON TIME to pick up your child at dismissal time. We cannot crowd our lobby due to social distancing guidelines so being on time for drop off and pick up is a must. Please feel free to visit our front office and staff if you have any questions regarding your account and when you feel necessary.

Food & Drink- Sharing food or drinks is not allowed. Please have. your child's name marked on their water bottle.

Room Sanitation- High-touch areas will be cleansed between classes.

Personal items- DEI is not responsible for lost items. We will have a lost and found area however if no one claims an item after 1 week we will dispose of the item.

Dance bags- Do not bring large dance bags only small bags preferred. Bring only the necessary shoes needed for class.

Shoes: No outside shoes allowed inside the dance studio rooms for Parents, Students and faculty.

*Again our Studio Safety Procedures are subject to change based off of current CDC Guidelines and State Mandates. We will notify parents immediately if additional procedures go into effect.

Dress Codes:

At this time, Masks are optional. We will let each dancer/parent decide. However, we will follow CDC Guidelines and state mandates should they change.

Dancers are required to wear the appropriate attire for each class they're enrolled in. Failure to wear required dance attire to class could result in students being asked to sit out the class. Ms. Ruthie will have a list of required items (clothing, shoes, under garments, equipment etc) parents will sign-off on our dress code policies when registering.

Dance bags-must have a bag for shoes. Only bring the necessary shoes required for class. Items must stay inside bag at all times and closed.

Dance Shoes: Please mark your child's name in their shoes. We are NOT responsible for their shoes. Do not allow your child to wear dance shoes outside before or after class. This will damage the shoe and will also bring germs into the studio.

Creative Movement- Any color leotard, skirt or tutu is optional. pink or tan tights. Black tap shoes and pink ballet shoes. Hair pulled away from face. Parents are allowed to watch the first class (if they wish) however we encourage parents to drop and go. Please have shoes in a small bag.

Kinder Classes- Solid color Leotard and tan tights. Black tap shoes. Pink Ballet shoes. Hair in secure bun.

Ballet- Black leotard and pink tights only. No holes and must be footed tights. Pink ballet shoes (split sole canvas only) Hair in secure bun. Ballet Levels 2 and 3 (No colored or print underwear visible. Nude is preferred)

Pointe: (Invitation only) Mrs. Irina will determine what shank and brand each student must have

Tap- solid color leotard and tan tights. black tap shoes. Hair in secure bun or ponytail.

Hip Hop- Tank top or camisole. Leggings or shorts (black preferred) Hair in secure ponytail. Dance sneakers- NO outside shoes are allowed. Leotard and tights are fine underneath if those taking classes before or after want to layer. NO baggy clothes like sweatshirt or sweatpants. No jeans.

Lyrical/Contemporary- Solid color Leotard and tan tights. Pirouette shoes. Hair in secure bun.

Jazz- Solid color leotard and tan tights OR Sports bra/ fitted tank top. Dance shorts only not running/gym shorts. Tan jazz shoes. Hair in secure bun. No t-shirts!

Class Placement: Placement is determined on a number of factors, including (but not limited to) age, ability, and experience. In order for the student to progress in the fastest possible manner, the professional staff at DEI will determine class placement. Please trust the professional advice of our teachers to best help your student to advance.

Attendance: Good attendance is a must in order for classes to be of a maximum benefit to the student. Please make every effort to be on time and attend every class. There will be no credit given for unused or forfeited classes when a personal decision is made by the student/parent not to attend. Absenteeism interferes with the consistent advancement of the class and is unfair to the students who are conscientious about attendance when students who rarely show up dance poorly or make mistakes because they don’t know the dance or are not polished. It ruins the dance for the rest. Poor attendance could result in removal from a recital dance. If you are 15 minutes or more late for the class you may be asked to observe the class.

Cell Phones: All Students with cell phones are required to check them in prior to the start of classes. Phones will be safe behind the front desk. Students are not allowed to make phone calls during class or bathroom breaks. No photo's or video's allowed while at the studio without teacher's permission. Phones will be returned at the end of the students final class.
If your child is sick and needs to leave they must see the office staff. DEI Staff will contact the parents.

Insurance: All students are required to be covered by their own insurance. If any injury occurs, it is understood that the students and their family are responsible for any medical costs.

Parent Watch Week: Starting in October 2021, we will be holding Parent Watch Week the last week of classes of every month (we will send an email as a reminder) Parents are welcome to join the last 10 minutes of their child's class to observe what they're learning. Please only 2 parents per child at this time. As we get closer to our recital and students learn choreography for their recital routines, we will allow parents to record the teacher and students so they can practice at home.

Liability Waiver:

I /we realize that participation in dance classes and activities could involve some possible personal injury. Despite precautions, accidents and injuries may occur. By signing this release form, I/we (the dancer and parent/guardian) assume all risks related to the use of any and all spaces used by Dance Explosion Infinity LLC and all faculty members.

I/we agree to release and hold harmless Dance Explosion Infinity, including its teachers, dancers, staff members and facilities used by Dance Explosion Infinity from any cause of action, claims, or demands now and in the future. I/we will not hold Dance Explosion Infinity LLC for any personal injury or any personal property damage, which may occur on the premises before, during or after classes. Furthermore, I/we agree to obey the class and facility rules and take
full responsibility for my/our behavior in addition to any damage I/we may cause to the facilities utilized by Dance Explosion Infinity LLC.

In the event that I/we should observe any unsafe conduct or conditions before, during or after my/our classes, I/we agree to report the unsafe conduct or
conditions to the Executive Director, Artistic Director, Individual Instructor or staff member as soon as possible.

It is also understood that we use video monitoring for security and we reserve the right to use photography and video for promotional /advertising purposes.

Inclement Weather:
Our studio will follow the Anne Arundel County Public Schools regarding inclement weather conditions. Please join our 2 Studio Facebook Pages (One is Private for Registered Families only and the other is open to the public) which will always have up to date closing information. An email and/or text alert will also go out to the email and number provided on file.

Registration Fee: An annual $50.00 fee for new and returning students is due and payable at registration. Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE unless a class is cancelled by the studio prior to the session.

TUITION
Fees are based on a 9 equal monthly installments from September through the month of May
The first payment is due at registration and the remaining 8 installments are due on the 25th of the month. (October's tuition would be due Sept 25th).

Late Fee:
A $15 late fee will be assessed for payments received on or after the 1st of the month. Students entering mid-month tuition will be prorated and will not exceed one full month’s tuition. TUITION IS NON-REFUNDABLE and non-transferable no exceptions.

Returned Checks:
A $25 returned check charge will be assessed for any returned check. After second returned check, classes will be available on a cash – only bases.

Credit Cards:
Credit cards will be required to have on file on the Parent Portal for everyone to enroll in. This site will allow parents to pay tuition, enroll in classes, costume deposits etc. You will be able to access this site from any mobile device. Each parent will have their very own password and log in to the site.

Auto-Pay:
Parents have the choice to enroll in this service through the Parent Portal. Tuition and any other account balance will be automatically billed the 25th of every month. Parents also have the option to opt out at anytime online through the parent portal.

Outstanding Balances:
Funds received are automatically applied to the oldest outstanding balance and/or late fees. All fees must be paid prior to your child’s participation in the annual recital.

Discounts - We offer Military discount 10% (must show ID and be active duty) This only applies to Tuition only. Military Discount is not available on Package deals.

Sibling Discount: Siblings will be enrolled by the total number of family hours will receive a discount.
Family Discount on Packages; 1st Child is FULL Price. 2nd Child is 20% off cost of their package . For additional kids please see admin.

Tuition Refund: Tuition is not refunded for absences, inclement weather closures, holiday breaks, rehearsals, and recital.

End of Year Account Reconciliation:
Costumes and recital tickets will be held at the studio until all outstanding balances (including unpaid late fees) are reconciled.

Withdrawals and Refunds:
There is a one month minimum for all classes. One month notice from the first of the month is required to discontinue any classes. Withdrawal must be in writing to deinfinity5678@gmail.com Must occur within the first 7 days of the month.

Recital Participation Fee:
The fee is $150.00 includes 2 recital tickets, 1 t-shirt, a digital recital movie file, and a recital program. $30.00 t-shirt fee for any additional family members in the recital. Due Nov 15, 2024 (this is non-refundable once we place orders)

Costumes
Children will be required to purchase a costume for each class performed in the recital showcase. Everything except tights and shoes will be included in your costume fee(s). You are responsible for minor alterations.

Costume Deposits:
An estimated costume fee of $90 (child size) or $100 (adult size) for each recital dance. 50% costume deposit due on November 15, 2024. Remaining balance due on January 15, 2025. -or parents can pay in installments monthly. This is a great option for those with multiple classes and/or kids. Costume payments are non-refundable once the costume is ordered. ALL Costumes will be ordered in the month of February 2025.

Rehearsal Date: Thursday May 29, 2025 times TBD. This is mandatory for ALL dancers. We will have a schedule for individual classes as we get closer.
(Rehearsal will be held at DEI location. Tech only no costumes required)

Recital Pictures:
Will be taken at DEI Location. May 2025 We will confirm as we get closer. Picture schedule will be released two weeks prior to the picture day. Absolutely NO VIDEO TAPING OR PICTURE TAKING in the dressing rooms! This includes pictures on recital day or photo day in the studio.

Video taping:
Absolutely NO VIDEO TAPING OR PICTURE TAKING inside our studio without the consent of the teacher.
