RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
I, the undersigned parent or guardian hereby give consent for my child to participate in the Missoula Irish Dancers' 2024-2025 program. I certify that my child is able to participate in the activities. If my child has medical conditions that may be relevant to a physician in the event of an emergency, I have listed them. In the event an emergency occurs, I may be reached at the listed telephone number. If I cannot be reached, I hereby authorize the Missoula Irish Dancers instructors to make emergency medical decisions for my child. If there are any activities I do not want my child to be involved in, including social media, I have listed them below.
I UNDERSTAND AND HEREBY AGREE TO ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS WHICH MAY BE ENCOUNTERED ON SAID ACTIVITY, INCLUDING ACTIVITIES PRELIMINARY AND SUBSEQUENT THERETO. I do hereby agree to hold Missoula Irish Dancers and its agents and employees, harmless from any and all liability, actions, causes of actions, claims, expenses, and damages on account of injury to my child or property, even injury resulting in death, which may arise in the future in connection with the activity or participation in any other associated activities.
I expressly agree that this release, waiver, and indemnity agreement is intended to be broad and inclusive as permitted by the law of the State of Montana, and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect. This release contains the entire agreement between the parties hereto and the terms of this release are contractual and not a mere recital.

Registration/Performance Fee: A non-refundable fee of $50 per student (with a 10% discount for each additional family member) is required within 2 months of registration.
Tuition: Tuition is due by the 15th of each month. A late fee of $5 will be added on the 15th, with an additional $10 per month added after the 30th day of the month.
Withdrawal and Refunds: Refund requests will be addressed by Missoula Irish Dancers on a case by case basis.
Cancellations: Classes may be canceled due to extreme weather conditions or other such unusual circumstances. If a class is canceled, we will make a reasonable effort to reschedule the class at a future date/time.
Dance Dress Code: All students are to wear shorts, skirts, or leggings that allow instructors to see the knee placement. Appropriate footwear must be worn for all dance classes. All dance students must have ghillies (girls) or black jazz shoes or reel shoes (boys). Dance students in Mystic and higher levels must have hard shoes at the instructor’s discretion.
Illness: Dancers should not attend class when they are ill. When in doubt, stay home.
Dance Class Attendance: Please notify Missoula Irish Dancers should you expect your child to be absent from class.
Drop-in Classes: Wednesday Skills & Technique and Feis A & B classes are available as regularly attended classes or on a drop-on basis. Students must register for drop-in classes using the Parent Portal at least 24 hours in advance of the class.
Parent’s Responsibility to be Aware of Dates and Events: Missoula Irish dancers will provide information regarding studio hours, performances, activities, etc., via email, newsletters, whiteboards, school website, and/or the parent portal. It is the parents/students responsibility to regularly maintain awareness of these communication tools, as well as providing MID, in writing, with any changes to mailing address, telephone number, email address or payment information.
